Bellissima zona, tranquillità assoluta. Appena siamo arrivati ci siamo trovati in questo posto meraviglioso. Vista mozzafiato sulle colline toscane. Abbiamo trascorso 2 giorni in ambiente familiare e rilassante. Abbiamo mangiato anche nel loro ristorante. Buono

Partiamo dalle note positive: personale giovane super disponibile e gentilissimo, pulizia ottima, camere arredate molto semplicemente ma con gusto, colazione buona, con prodotti freschi e fatti in casa. Tuttavia: il prezzo secondo me è troppo alto per l'offerta e la cena è quasi un latrocinio. Abbiamo preso due aperitivi, due antipasti (un mix di formaggi e un mix di salumi) un primo (spaghetti al pomodoro) e un secondo (tagliata), una bottiglia di vino ed abbiamo speso 114 euro...la bottiglia è arrivata a metà cena quando avevamo già finito gli antipasti, affettati e formaggi potevano anche essere del supermercato e non ci sono stati minimamente spiegati, gli spaghetti erano poco saporiti. Diciamo che quasi 500 euro per un weekend secondo me non li valeva.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE The room we had was at the reception level, next to the bar and restaurant (breakfast room). We had so much NOICE in our room from 7h in the morning till 1h30 in the night! It didn’t made a difference if our door was open our closed…it was if we were sleeping in the bar. Our second day it was even worse when a group of 12 young men went into the bar (read in our room) for some hours after they had dinner. Their explanation: we were the first guests who noticed this….there was no problem with this room… We booked for 2 days and when we arrived we had asked if there was an option for staying 1 day longer if we would decide to stay some longer. With the stress of the noise and the explanation that the room was fine, we preffered to leave after the 2 days we booked and checked out. We correctly paid for these 2 days and the restaurant (which was good). Than we had a discussion about the ‘option’, not a reservation for staying eventuelly a 3 night. Suddenly they wanted us to pay for one extra night which we did not agreed. After 2 weeks, when i received the overvieuw of my mastercard that i used for booking the 2 nights on their site, they charged us 246 euro extra without our permission!!! This is ROBBERY!!! So take care with this people. If you give your creditcard for paying the room, they can take more money afterwards from it. Even when you don’t agree.

Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location.
Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed.
We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere.

Abbiamo soggiornato in coppia con il nostro cane ad Agosto 2024 per 4 notti. Il podere è molto bello e le stanze sono state ristrutturate molto di recente, nel rispetto della tradizione e dei materiali tipici della zona e del casale stesso. Si trova non distante da Firenze ma abbastanza da poter stare tranquilli nelle colline (e godere di bellissimi tramonti dalla piscina o dalla terrazza). La stanza dove eravamo noi (one bedroom suite) era molto spaziosa, in due ambienti, dotati di aria condizionata con piccolo giardino privato. La colazione e la ristorazione in generale del posto sono molto buoni, con prodotti locali e freschissimi (verdure dal loro orto). Special mention per il gin ed in generale per il bar, per aperitivi e cocktail dopo cena. Consiglio per una vacanza rilassante e per chi cerca una nuova connessione con il vivere lento (e volendo perchè no visitare Firenze)

4 gg all insegna del relax assoluto… a volte il silenzio era quasi imbarazzante ma ci voleva proprio!!! Staff cordialissimo se pur giovane con tanta voglia di lavorare e far stare a proprio agio gli ospiti! Lo consiglierei assolutamente …il cibo semplice ma prodotti a km 0 tanta verdura di stagione sempre fresca!!!

Eco resort immerso nel maestoso panorama toscano fatto di vigne, colline e boschi. Ottima posizione per fare passeggiate nei lunghi sentieri che circondano la struttura. Accoglienza eccellente, cordialità, familiarità e flessibilità totale da parte di tutto il personale in particolare di Adriano. Interessante la visita alla distilleria del gin. Ottima anche la cucina. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole passare qualche giorno in totale relax a contatto con la natura incontaminata.

Una struttura molto accogliente immersa in uno scenario naturale incantevole. Relax, silenzio, ritmi lenti. E poi Adriano, gentile, disponibile, di cuore, a rendere l'esperienza ancora più piacevole. Un we condito di momenti piacevoli, buona cucina, passeggiate in una natura pazzesca, luci e silenzi doni della natura. A presto!!!

Un podere a dir poco eccezionale immerso nella natura fiorentina. Ci si sente subito a casa grazie all'accoglienza dello staff, in particolare il direttore Adriano, super disponibile, e Francesco, gentilissimo e capace di preparare dei cocktails spettacolari (consiglio il cocktail del podere). Una tappa super consigliata!
