Arriving l’antica fornace feels like coming home to a dear old friend. Lucia, the host, is a rare gem, a total star, the perfect host for a place like this. She opens her home and share all the secrets about places to go, to eat and to visit. But you really doesn’t want to go anywhere else, cause this place is pure magic. It’s the perfect place to recharge your batteries and you have everything you need. We had the La Fornace appartment that have enough space for a family of 4-5, with two bedrooms (with good beds) and two bathrooms. Plus a kitchen and a magnificent view from the balcony. The lovely pool was Well used by all of us at any part of the day, and I really reccommend a late night bath. Or to just bring a good book and lay on the sunbed by the pool. The only sound disturbing you will be the sound of the birds and crickets, or the frogs in the evening. Oh, and the view, Where to start! Nothing like it, 360 degrees view over the beautiful wavy hills of Toscana. Don’t miss a single sunset, they all come with different colors and combinations. Francesca, the cook, is the other star of this place, we had so much fun. Make sure to book the cooking class on Tuesdays, following the home made dinner, which was outdoors and with that incredible scenery around. Nothing but amazing. Also the dinner on Thursdays, three courses with authentic Tuscan food. I can go on and on, but you really need to experience this place by yourself. Stay at least one week, it will be the best days of your life. We will most certainly be back, hopefully next year!

We had a beautiful apartment with everything we needed. Most of the time we spent outside anyway. We had direct access to the pool and our patio was spacious and in the shade. We spent our evenings on the patio looking at the sky change its colors until the sun went down while having a nice aperitif and a good glass of wine (they also have delicious wines of their own production and also sell beverages from "right around the corner"). The best part, and really the heart of the place, is the host! Lucia is what makes L'Antica Fornace what it is – she makes you feel home and like a guest at her place. We are thankful for a wonderful time there and are looking forward to being able to come back in the future!

This is our second visit—three weeks in June 2023 and three weeks in May 2025. We love everything about our hosts, their attention to detail, and sharing the wonders of Tuscan life near and far. And because of its hilltop location, you look out the window from your room with a view.

Lucia welcomed us with open arms into her farm. The breakfast was so fresh and wonderful. Beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside from every turn. Lots of area to walk and enjoy the farm. Highly recommend if you are looking to get back to nature.

We were travelling with 3 kids (13,12 and 3) and have had a wonderful time in Antica Fornace and region. The host Ms. Lucia is just TOP in what she is doing. Always friendly and professional in what she does & how she is managing with her husband. Always ready to give advice and pointers about what to do, what to visit, where to eat, etc etc. We have had a wonderful vacation, a splendid scenary and are very grateful we could enjoy 2 weeks of Holidays in Antica Fornace, Peccioli. Thank you !

English text below Una fantastica struttura, con appartamenti muniti di tutto e ben curati e con alloggi glamping realizzati al meglio. Piscina molto pratica: grande al punto giusto e altezza sino a 1,40 per lasciare i più piccoli in sicurezza. Puliza ottima e personale molto gentile e attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Unico punto di miglioramento: spaziare un po' di più nelle indicazioni per visite turistiche nel patrimonio artistico-culturale e naturalistico della zona. Great facility, with well-equipped and well-maintained flats and glamping accommodation. Very practical swimming pool: just the right size and up to 1.40m in height to keep the little ones safe. Excellent cleanliness and very friendly and attentive staff. Only point of improvement: a few more directions for sightseeing in the area's cultural and natural heritage.

A beautiful location, just what you expect of Tuscany. The hosts were extremely welcoming and the breakfast amazing with lots of local produce. A huge thank you to Lucia for all her help and recommendations, we will definitely be returning.
