We stayed here in April 2023 and were very disappointed with this hotel. We have stayed at many Hilton Garden Inns and this was the worst. The traffic noise from I-20 was so loud that you could not possibly sleep. I did check in using the mobile app and picked a room on the non-freeway side. When I arrived I was told I could not have that room nor any other room on the non-freeway side as those rooms are reserved for the Air Crew from the airlines. WHAT? Then don't let me pick a room. As an Honor's Member, I am sooo disappointed If I had known that I would not have stayed at this hotel. BE WARNED!!! You will not get any sleep at this hotel.

Out of all the hotels we stay in you are the only one who did not have breakfast included, not even a cup of coffee. We would have had to pay for everything. Very little in amenities. Very noisy right on I-20. You really need to UP your game. Your competition greeted us with coffee, cookies and fruit in the evening checking. Your evening grill hour was so expensive we decided to eat out, again not accommodating like Yorker hotels.

Excellent customer service, clean and comfortable. Only complaints are that the 5am coffee isn’t as hot as it should be. The coffee urn is very old looking so it’s probably not well insulated from many years of use. And the TV service is awful. You should upgrade with smart TVs.

The restaurant African female staff waitress was the rudest who ruins the image of Hilton Honnor for her personal interest of racial discrimination against Asian customer! She was insulting an Asian customer and shows no kindness to serve. And the kitchen female African cook that day was also helping that waitress for the complaint after the asian customer was seeking help at front desk instead. Asian customer left the contact info to the manager but received no call back!

We entered the hotel to check in. There was a lady in front of us who said she’s been at the front desk for 15 minutes and no one was there to check her in. We waited with her for probably ten more minutes and the Front Desk Clerk and another man who worked there came to the front desk to check us in. He left and she checked us in. Seemed kind of strange. We went to our room and unpacked and we were watching tv. After we turned the tv off and tried to sleep we realized that our room backed up to Interstate 20. We sat awake most of the night listening to 18 wheelers go by. The room was nice and clean, but if you stay there do not let them assign you a room adjoining the interstate.

Do not stay in a room on the interstate side because you’ll hear trucks all night long. The room is a nice room and the amenities are nice. The breakfast area is not up to par with many of the Hilton Garden Inns I’ve stayed in. There’s several good restaurants near the hotel.

At check in was told we could only have two key cards. Three of us were in the room. The lock on the door was broken. The soap/ shampoo dispensers were empty. The “queen size beds” were really just double beds. No free breakfast $12.50. Ate at the Cracker Barrel for 9.50

I have stayed at this location 3 times and I have always felt like family from great admission (Tequila)to assistance with my shoes(Trey), to inspiring conversation ( Yolanda and Glenda) and great food(Mr. Kevin).
