You have to buy your own toilet paper, garbage bags and hand soap. Crazy for what you pay. The cabins are okay. Very small, beds are uncomfortable. Owners are incredibly rude and unresponsive. Screamed at us for having too many cars when we were just trying to unload our stuff before parking up the road. Wouldn’t answer if we had questions and were never in the office.

Left my $300 kindle with custom case in my cabin, notified them immediately. They said the cleaners hadn’t been in yet and didn’t offer to look. After several more unanswered messages, they again said cleaners hadn’t been in yet, which is a lie as the cabin was booked with new guests. A few more unanswered messages, and they finally claim it was not found. I know exactly where it was in the cabin. Very unhappy, filing a police report.

We spent thousands expecting a peaceful, quality getaway — but what we got was a frustrating, uncomfortable experience that left us feeling unwelcome from day one. The owners and staff were consistently rude and abrasive, creating a tense atmosphere that made it clear guests were not their priority. My family and I felt like a burden. Basic essentials weren’t even provided — we had to purchase our own toilet paper, hand soap, and garbage bags. For the price, that’s absurd. Despite charging a cleaning fee, we were expected to unload the dishwasher and take out the garbage and recycling ourselves — not just outside, but to a separate drop-off area. The provided cleaning supplies were laughable: a kitchen sponge that had been literally cut into quarters, and just three dishwasher pods in a reused container. The cabin itself was cramped, and the air conditioning barely cooled the space. The sliding door was nearly impossible to open or close. When we mentioned this to the owner, he casually dismissed it as “not fixable.” We ended up fixing it ourselves with a can of WD-40 — something staff should have handled long before we arrived. The on-site office had posted hours but was never staffed when we needed help or had questions. To top it off, in the evenings the owners would sit around drinking in full view of the guests, which only added to the unprofessional atmosphere. This resort was a huge disappointment. Between the poor service, lack of basics, uncomfortable cabins, and hostile energy from the owners, we regret ever booking here. Absolutely not worth the money — would not return or recommend.

My family and I stayed at the Davis Cove Resort at the end of August 2021. The reviews and pictures looked wonderful……until we arrived. Not only was the unit (14A) very small, but it was dirty. There was no room for toiletries in the bathroom, no room for luggage, the hot water in the bathroom sink and shower trickled out slowly, and the coffee maker did not work properly. When I first asked about our pup staying they said no problem…..$25 per night. There was a problem……he was not allowed to go anywhere on the property. We were charged close to $400 night; little value for your momey

Staff were friendly. Good communication even though we arrived late there was a voicemail and email as to how to gain access to the cabin. Older amenities but very well kept and clean. Room had a deck and BBQ. Multiple nights are easy here what with a kitchenette. Beach is a walk down the hill.

I was visiting the area with my mother who had travelled from Europe. We parked for a minute in the car park, was the only car in a 6-8 car lot. We were asked to move, we agreed and i started the ignition while my mother took a picture of the view. Then an intoxicated man shouted “MOVE YOUR CAR, GET THE F**K OUT OF HERE”. Pretty shocking experience and would not recommend anyone staging with people who treat strangers like this.

This place called RESORT but it is not. Old cabins with only one obsolete noisy air condition. You are freezing in the kitchen and sweating in bedrooms. Beach is ok but you can not get in to the water with bare foots. The dock not safe to park your boat. We got one scratch. If you want go to vacation, have fun with your friends and kids not good place to go. Owners been friendly at the beginning but ask us to leave the dock at 9PM! Also they consume an alcohol all days long. Friends came to visit us and they been chasing them when are they leaving? Why? Also you must dispose all garbage after you, which we are totally fine but you still have to pay a cleaning fees. Not recommended . People going to places like that to relax and have fun, this is not a prayer house to sit inside and be quiet. A bit of music and noise should be accepted before 10PM

The children, ages 8 and 11, their parents and their grandparents, all had a great time in cabin 7. It was the best-equipped vacation rental I have ever stayed. All the beach toys, the trampoline water raft and the paddle boat were enjoyed immensely by all of us. We appreciated all the outdoor recreational equipment. Craig the Bengal cat stole our hearts. (but doesn't come in the units so allergy sufferers need not worry). Plus, there was Peachland, surely the sweetest of the Okanagan small towns. We will return—and for a week, next time.
