Plaza Inn

My wife and I book this through a popular Booking Site, for a quick overnight stay on our way through the area. The Property looked dated, but the Lobby looked decent. The person On Duty looked put out that he had to come to the counter. He was quick to point out that we booked a No Smoking Room and that we "No Smoke". I paid, to which there was a damage deposit (which was credited back the following day. After he handed me the Key Card, he stated "No Water Water" in his Middle or Southwest Asian Accent. I asked him "What?", to which he replied the same thing. We got to our room, to find it very small by modern standards. It had a fairly new looking headboard and side table arrangement, with wall mounted light fixtures. The Power Cord and the Cables for the TV were freely hanging away from the wall. The Flooring was poorly laid Laminate. There is a gap between the Laminate of the Main Room and the Threshold into the Bathroom. There was damage to the Bathroom Wall, that looked like someone had punched the Sheetrock. The Tile in the Shower was Cracked. There were Hand Towels and Bath Towels, but No Washcloths. And there was No Warm Water. As I commented to my wife, "To call this place a Flea Bag Motel would be an Insult to all other Flea Bag Motels" I will happily Share my Photos if it helps raise awareness of such places.

Please, stay away from this place! It is horrible: its filthy, broken drawers/dressers and they never cleaned my room during the during of my stay. The guests next door were fighting all the time and i had to call the manager. The place is right next to the road and it is so noisy.

My partner and I stayed here this past weekend and were mortified at the condition of the room. The headboard was removed from the wall and the pillows were propped up hiding the metal brackets that were left exposed which could have caused serious injury. The bedding was stained, only 3 small flat pillows which were very uncomfortable. Forget getting a good night's sleep! The mini refrigerator froze the drinks and food overnight and the tv barely worked! Now, lets talk about the other "guest" we encountered during our stay. When I say guests, I mean shady young males who seemed half out of it, loud and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. I was actually intimidated by two men who were in the hallway when I tried to get by they said oh you smell nice, I thought for sure if my door wasn't right there I may have been a very unsafe situation. The room number was 23 and the price was $130.00 which is not cheap for a crap hole like that. I would NEVER I repeat NEVER stay there again. When I discussed these issues with the I man at the front desk, I wasn't sure he even understood my English and made no effort to compensate for the horrible experience at the motel. Do yourself a favor and bypass this motels and spread the word. This place should be shut down!
