Stayed Sunday and Monday nights.Very few guests. It was nice and peaceful and walked the property on Monday. Only issue I had was the dining facilities were closed on Monday. Beautiful decor. Thank you. Staff was awesome and very helpful .

The website that secured our reservation was for a King Sized Suite, but when we got there the hotel told us that us.trip.com stated 'whatever available', even though our res was for a King. Anyways - the staff made some phone calls and we lucked out because someone cancelled at the last second and they got us our room we originally ordered. It was stunning and we will be back, just not thru us.trip.com.

My husband and I stayed at Kohls Ranch in March. It is quaint with historical photos throughout the Ranch. It is not a Doubletree or Hyatt. If you stay here, you stay here for the beauty and simplicity. You stay here to appreciate the kind and friendly personnel and the history of the Ranch. The room was clean with a full kitchen. Wifi was a bit spotty, but good enough. Staying at Kohls Ranch is fantastic, if you want to get away and enjoy the beauty of the area. Hiking area across the road. We will be make additional reservations here soon.

Had not been to this resort since the 60's. It was fabulous then & even better now. The staff is great. Pool, pickleball courts, cornhole, pitch & putt. Who could ask for anything more? We will return!

Beautiful resort and location in the woods. Exceptionally kept and very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms include very comfortable beds and have very good appliances and amenities. Excellent place for family, couple or solo traveler. Just amazing!

It's a nice place. But far cry from what it used to be prior to becoming a timeshare property. The restaurant no longer has the small town welcoming touch. It used to be nice and rustic like you would expect cabins to be. Now it's motel 6 like. They no longer allow dogs. I get that. There are people who allow their dogs to cause damage and think nothing of it. however, there are better ways to handle that. Like limiting the weight. I've seen huge pit bulls and others just tearing it up while the owner watches. Ruined it for everybody. I won't go anymore.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived on the property. The room was spacious and very clean. It was nice to have a kitchen with stocked utensils, pans, etc and a patio with close access to a grill and picnic table. The only issue we had was that a couple who stayed down the hall from us had a young child who woke us up at 2 in the morning crying and continued throughout the early morning which unfortunately affected our quality of sleep but this was not the fault of the resort(just people lacking common courtesy or unlucky circumstance). The creek was within walking distance and the staff was very polite/welcoming. We will definitely be back with our kids so that they can enjoy this place.

When I arrived 2 hours early, the room was ready. But WIFI did not work. Router broken. Also, the door lock did not work. It was a battery. Brian the maintenance tech was great and fixed both. Went to dinner and The prices at the restaurant were outrageous. $42 for prime rib!! The baby back ribs were $28. Service at Lodge was great. Quick responses and check out was just a text. Very convenient.
