Very bad experiece. everything is of poor quality, food, rooms, staff. including coffee pods in the room you have to pay for. A hotel and an experience to avoid. the 5 stars are a big scam and I think the hotel is aimed at pensioners whose tickets are paid for by the state and the quality of the services doesn't matter

We travelled to Pavel Banya for a 3 day break at the end of August 2022. We were a family of four and my 71 year old mother-in-law. The premises were spotlessly clean and the accommodation is comfortable. The shower in our bathroom was particularly excellent. The garden area and the pool are delightful and make for a lovely place to relax after a day's hiking. There are barbecuing facilities which we took advantage of one night and our host directed us to a neighbour who sold us some tomatoes from her garden. The owner was a mine of information on the surrounding area and he gave us really useful tips about where and when to visit the local sites. It is a short drive to get to Rila Lakes which makes for a wonderful day's hiking. The prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended.
