The breakfast buffet was excellent!! The local delicacies were amazing. The hospitality was superb. The spa experience was great and the pizza and the tiramisu at Pebbles was mind blowing. Chef Ayush, Ravindar’s and Mr. GK were very hospitable and attentive to all guests! Chef Ayush’s pizza and tiramisu was out of this world!

A visit to the Taj Rishikesh has become an annual tradition. Every year, the service and hospitality remains consistently brilliant with a little surprise or new addition. This year, our highlight was the afternoon spent at the Pebble Beach restaurant. Chef Ayush enthusiastically introduced us to some new and unusual flavours. His passion for his craft shone through as he talked us through the different ingredients as well as the local communities/villages from where they are sourced. As for the service, we also appreciated the attention to detail by Ravindra. They are such a great team. Other highlights included the afternoon tea - especially the lady (Hemlata?) who manages the tea counter with such great energy. Despite being so busy, she found time to cater to our special dietary needs. The hotel shop has been beautifully curated - playful, magical and imaginative. I recommend you spend some time there with Lydia as your guide. Every year, when our visit comes to an end, I feel genuinely sad to leave this little piece of heaven behind, but then look forward to returning the next year and meeting people who are now familiar faces. Loved the property,the location,the food,the interiors, And most of all-the staff. Taj’s beach access feels like you are on some private island . Special mention-akshay at the restaurant.looked out in every possible way,and amazed us with local folklore. Had an exemplary local meal at the riverside restaurant.thank you chef. Fabulous work guys!! Keep it up!! Would highly recommend this and come back again soon:)

Taj gave us homely experience and the best hospitality. Thank you Akshay and Vaishnavi for your help and guidance through our stay. The Ganga Aarti was one of the best experience. Pahadi food prepared by chef Sanjay was worth an experience.

We were revised by security personal because we had no reservation. Extremely unfriendly. Must make reservation by telephone call 15 min from outside, not at reception. Monkeys can easily open locked windows with outside handle. The locker falls down on slow shaking by the monkeys. Very cosy atmosphere, stuff inside super friendly, garden and river area very good.
