Nishantam Rishikesh

Very bad experience. It was our family trip. We book 6 rooms. No facility available at all. Staff vey rude with kids and elders.Specially manager. Rooms our not clean. Food was too bad.simple tea coffee also not available.. it was horrible experience. No parking facility available near resort. In website dogs are allowed but manager is not allowing our pet. Room service also bad. Room & washroom are too stinky. Totally waste of money We recommend don't waste your money

We had a wonderful stay at this serene property in Rishikesh! Nestled in lush greenery, it offered the perfect nature escape — peaceful, refreshing, and relaxing. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with stunning views and calming bird sounds each morning. The food was a delight — fresh, flavorful, and homely. The staff was warm and attentive, making us feel truly cared for. Highly recommend this hidden gem for a tranquil getaway with amazing food and hospitality!

Location and food was very good. Post check in the rooms, we found the rooms and toilet were too dirty with dust and flush was also smelly. it was not cleaned before allowed to check in . Apart from this concern everything was good

We stayed in the resort for 2 nights ( holi weekend) and had booked 3 rooms. The reservation came with a surcharge for Holi for 2 nights. The resort overlooks a small river stream which joins the Ganges several meters away. The Resort itself is quite a distance away from rishikesh. Car park ( paid) is about 500 meters from the resort and the walk to the resort is quite a challenge through the forest on a narrow walking path. The reception is some steps below and rooms further down several steps up n down. We were quite aghast at this as we had asked several times the walking/ stairs involved, having gone there shortly after Bilateral knee replacement surgery, and ofcourse were totally misinformed. The person responsible made himself completely unavailable for the rest of the stay, and we were of course confined to the room. The approach to the river ( a great selling point) was several uneven steps away and obviously, could not be done. The first evening of Holi was a non event as the resort had no other guests. We were, thankfully given some snacks in the room. The meals during those 2 days ( breakfast and dinner) were exactly the same, no variation at all both days, and served with a lot of attitude ( cannot give omlette/ fried eggs to different guests, as too much work. So decide 1 thing ?!) when there were precisely 9 guests in the dining room. The rooms required major maintenance ( hardly any furniture and that too torn sofa cushions) and bathroom were in urgent need of plumbing ( one bath and the whole place is flooded on account of poor drainage). This holiday was truly a challenge. And completely not worth the price charged.

Nishantam offers the best of Rishikesh, it is away from the city's bustle and noise and nearby to all the major attractions. The resort in itself is wonderful with big rooms, all necessary facilities and exceptional view. Stream of Him river flowing right beside the resort is like a cherry on the cake. Nishantam offers great food and is hosted by a wonderful staff.

The property is good location wise but rest all is really bad.It was not clean and I found cockroach at breakfast table(buffet table).Bathrooms were not clean and when I asked staff to clean it they just handed over a floor wiper which was shocking.Hotel really doesn’t deserve a rating of 3 and the money which we paid for one day so it was wasted. Hotel really requires a ranovation as location and structure is good but the maintenance is below the standards of even a 2 star hotel.Please don’t get fooled by the pictures ,they are very old when they opened this property many years ago and now its condition is really bad.
