Rio Resort

Dear Management, I recently called your resort to inquire about room booking, but I was extremely disappointed with the unprofessional behavior of the staff member who answered the call. The lady was completely ill-mannered, lacked basic communication skills, and came across as extremely rude and uneducated. It was fortunate that I experienced this beforehand, as it gave me a clear indication of the kind of service and hospitality your resort might offer. First impressions matter a lot, especially in the hospitality industry, and unfortunately, this experience has completely discouraged me from considering your property for my stay. I hope you take this feedback seriously and work on improving your staff’s professionalism and communication skills.

Just one word to describe my experience: Exhilarating! I booked this budget resort with very low expectations. My only ask was easy access to the small stream of water flowing adjacent to the resort But what I got was much much more. Room: My room (wooden cottage, #402) was just at an arms distance from the water stream. I jokingly complained to my wife there is too much noise in the room, noise of birds chirping day in day out!! View: I visited Bharatpur birds sanctuary sometime back, and I spotted far more variety of birds from my room’s balcony in rio resort than in the sanctuary. Service: This is by far the best service I have experienced in any non 5 star resort. Every single person in the resort was at your service with full dedication. 'Atithi devo bhava', this is what I felt Cleanliness: the resort is super clean and very well maintained. Guests do try to litter here and there but I really had to try very hard to find any trash scattered in the resort. I assumed the resort to be 4 star just on paper, but they try very hard to earn those stars! Eco friendly: The washroom pots consume very little water to flush waste. I felt good every time I used it. Saves a lot of water. The resort is kids friendly. The tv inside the room even had YouTube! I haven’t seen anybody else’s providing this nice thing. Wi-Fi is patchy, but when it works, it does help make the kid sit at one place for sometime. Downside: I have to nitpick here. The food tastes average at best. Again subjective. My wife licked her fingers when we were served chole bhature. I own the side could not finish single bhatura. Though, it is priced well below 4 star rates. So it won't pinch even if the dish you ordered is not up to your liking. The variety in the breakfast buffet may seem limited. Does not feel like a luxury buffet. That said, you get what you pay for. I don’t have much issues here, purely because the cost of food is very less here. My wife and kid liked the stay. We visited from 3rd March to 5th March 2023. Weather and the temperature were optimum. Would like to visit again whenever we are coming to Lansdowne

My experience was amazing with rio resort lansdown, rooms are clean and hygienic and also the food was amazing, my daughter enjoyed a lot in cottage and river, I love this hospitality done by hotel staff.

My 3rd visit to Rio...excellent staff , amazing property , great food ...thanks Rajendra (mngr) Sikander and saurabh for making our trip memorable- as always !! Coming bk soon again ..5 stars completely,

I visited Rio resort in June 21 and now I want to visit again on my next weekend. Amazing resort, well maintained good food quality. Highly recommended. Very peaceful and and relaxed weekend with nature.
