Nous avons aimés être dans les arbres et profiter de la nature. Par contre il manque du personnel au restaurant les soirs d’affluence. Le petit déjeuner était faible et nous sommes partit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in one of their beautiful Bush Chalets, last week. All their Staff were most helpful, especially in.driving us back to our Chalet. The Breakfasts were amazing , as was our Evening Dinner. Fabulous all round.!

My husband and I are currently staying here as part of a 20th Anniversary trip to NZ. We are from the US and just beginning a 20 day self drive tour of the country. First off, the country is beautiful, even in the winter. The hotel was well marked and extremely welcoming and accommodating as soon as we walked through the door. Unfortunately, on the second day of our stay, we got a flat tire nearly an hour from our hotel. We were able to put the spare on and drive to the next town, but it was clear we should stop driving on the spare when got there. The hotel sent a shuttle for us even though it was after dark and we were 30 minutes away. Simon, the young man who picked us up, really tried to brighten our spirits with pleasant conversation. When we arrived back, tired and forlorn, they took really good care of us and tried to help in every way possible. Luke, at reception, fielded calls from the auto shop for us and even searched busses for us should we need one to make it to our next destination. While I hope to be on my way to my next destination later today, if I have to stay another day day, there is no place I'd rather be.

Die interessante Anlage liegt am Berghang, ein Auto ist dringend von Nöten, will man nicht die weiten und steilen Wege nach Pauanui bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen bewältigen. Hinter der Hauptanlage mit Restaurant, Pool und Tennisplatz geht es weiter höher zu den Dschungelhütten. Ein Buggyservice wird angeboten. Mit drei Erwachsenen ist es schon eng in der Hütte, das Bad und der Balkon sind aber großzügig. Leider hat man auf Grund des Dickichts trotz Höhe keinen Ausblick, sehr schade. Das Haupthaus hat eine edle Inneneinrichtung, das Personal sehr freundlich. Am ersten Abend war das Haus wegen einer Oldtimer-Tour knacke voll, so das man uns bat auswärtig zu speisen. Leider war es am zweiten Abend nicht minder besser. Eine knappe Stunde durften wir auf der Außenterrasse die Zeit mit Getränken überbrücken bis ein Tisch frei wurde. Auf Grund des Andrangs dauertes es dann nochmals fast 90 Minuten ehe das Essen auf dem Tisch stand. Als Entschuldigung gingen sämtliche Getränke des Abends und das Dessert auf das Haus, das fand ich akzeptabel. Das Essen war querbeet, jeder hatte etwas anderes, alles sehr lecker. Der Fisch des Tages, Schwertfisch, war exzellent. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung aber auch nicht außergewöhnlich.

Great property close to the beach. Rooms are awesome cabanas nestled into the woods.
Really awesome nature around us. Only thing is its an uphill climb to all rooms.They do offer golf cart lifts on request to the rooms and let you take your car upto the to unload luggage.
Rooms are spacious and very comfortable with balconies. Restaurant is good could be much better with a little organization. Overall we had a great stay

This is a stunning property. Peaceful, natural, and impeccable staff and service. Located near a beautiful beach, a rewarding hike, and in a very relaxed town. Lovely pool, sauna, and cedar hot tub as well. We loved our stay and will recommend it without reservation!

This hotel is amazing, we were part of a tour and had only one night here, wish we could have stayed longer. It’s like being in a jungle, lovely spacious rooms and balcony, bathroom was very modern too. Beds comfortable. Staff were friendly and efficient, they have a shuttle to get you to and from your room to restaurant, save your legs up-hill. Restaurant had amazing food, good choice, I had the Salmon, definitely recommend. It was pouring of rain when we arrived late afternoon, and we had to leave after breakfast on our tour, but wish we could have stayed longer. Thankyou for a great stay.
