Nestled at the edge of a forest and named after our resident owl, Hooting Haus is a European styled cabin retreat close to all Penn State offers. The gourmet kitchen's rustic charm features a zinc island, butcher block counter and stunning natural stone wall. Entertain guests at the artisan crafted pine table while dining next to the antique cast iron fireplace. Cap the evening sharing stories under the cool night sky gathered 'round the fire pit with a soothing hot toddy or mug of creamy cocoa. NOTE- We have beautiful woods at the back of the property, but if you're looking for a secluded getaway, this cabin may not be a good fit. We're close to the highway, which is very convenient to Beaver Stadium, campus and town - only 10 minutes and less than 8 miles away. *2nd bedroom is located in the upstairs loft & library.
