Grand Palazzo Hotel

I stayed from August 24th to 27th. Around 5 PM on the 23rd, I made a reservation in Pattaya, Thailand, using Trip.com. During the Kakao Pay payment process, the money was withdrawn from my Nonghyup account to Kakao Pay. However, due to buffering, the hotel reservation was not confirmed. I had to revert and re-submit several times. I made the payment, but the screen kept freezing due to buffering. When I checked Kakao Pay, the payment had not been processed, and only the deposit had been made to my Nonghyup account. So, I started over and successfully confirmed the hotel reservation. However, around 10 PM local time on the 23rd, I checked my Nonghyup account and confirmed a double withdrawal. I called Trip.com and explained the whole story to the customer service representative. They promised to contact me the next day, but I never heard back. I had no choice but to explain the double booking to the Palazzo Hotel receptionist during check-in around noon the next day, the 24th. Initially, they said it was possible, but after speaking with someone, they showed me a document stating that the hotel only allowed cancellations 24 hours in advance. I asked what I could do since my reservation was less than 24 hours in advance, but the hotel insisted on the 24-hour notice on the document and denied cancellations. Ultimately, I ended up paying twice. This trip taught me again that overseas phone and internet connections are slow, so I need to be careful when making reservations and payments. Trip.com was incredibly helpful, calling me over 10 times to help me out. Once again, I sincerely thank Trip.com...!!!

I really liked the great location, cleanliness, and the bright smiles of the staff. Furthermore, the desk staff's Korean skills are excellent.

The environment is good, but the breakfast food needs to be improved

The facilities are complete and comfortable, the transportation is very convenient, the breakfast is rich and varied, the taste is unique, I will stay here again next time. It would be better to have a translator who can speak Chinese
