We were really looking forward to a comfortable stay at Marin House Pattaya after a long journey, but our experience was far from what we expected. Upon arrival, the staff seemed confused and asked if we had made a booking, even though we had a confirmed reservation. To our dismay, they informed us that the property was fully booked, despite our confirmed booking. When we showed them the booking confirmation, the caretaker had to call the owner. We were then told that a group of people had walked in and booked that same day, and unfortunately, the owner forgot to mark the place as fully booked. Although they refunded our booking, the inconvenience was significant. We had to walk around with all our luggage, feeling stranded, like homeless people searching for a place to stay, until we finally found RoomQuest nearby around 7 or 8 PM. While we’re grateful we found a better alternative in RoomQuest, the situation at Marin House was frustrating and disappointing, especially after such a long journey. It’s unfortunate that poor management left us in such a predicament, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you're looking for reliable service.

My taxi driver could not find the location. I tried calling 3 times and there was no answer. After combing the area for 2 hours and asking everyone in the vicinity about where The Marin House was I finally gave up. I finally contacted someone by email telling them I was canceling my reservation for the above reasons. They told me I would receive my payment in full which has yet to happen.
