Hotel located a 20-minute walk from Terminal 21, 30 minutes from Soite 6, and 40-50 minutes from Walking Street. The staff is very friendly, but speaks little English.
The room was clean. However, I expected much better for a 5-star hotel. I've stayed in 5-star hotels with better bedding.
The soundproofing was poor; the neighbors were noisy all night in bed. I couldn't sleep a wink.
Breakfast was very average: a few fruits and small pastries, hot Thai dishes (fried rice, noodles, etc.), no hot dishes suitable for Western palates, coffee, or fruit juice.
The biggest drawback of my stay was the pool. It's very beautiful, but I got a Staphylococcus aureus infection the next day after swimming in it:
Bacterial conjunctivitis in my eyes, then an abscess on the back of my head.
It's been a month since I left this hotel, and I'm still not healed despite the treatments. I don't recommend it at all.
