Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The cafe is excellent and offers a very delicious breakfast. Location is also very good. Room is a bit old and furniture are not very nice. I would recommend the management to renovate room 36. 😉

Spacious accommodation with kitchen and terrace to relax. Very centrally located. The gym for hotel guests were really well equipped and had Peloton bikes as well. Breakfast was sumptuous and filling. There are two food outlets within Shaligram. There is a heated endless pool and jacuzzi system on a very pleasant roof top with glorious mountain views, which also has a very personal steam and sauna (only one party at a time can use this space for privacy and exclusiveness for only in-house guests). Getting taxis or the popular “Pathao” service (i.e their Uber bike and car ap) is a breeze. Visiting anywhere in Kathmandu, Patan, Kirtipur & Bhaktapur from here is really convenient as its the centre of entire four cities valley. The staff and service is professional and very friendly. Thank you.

Shaligram was the perfect base to explored Nepal! I would definitely stay again as the location of the hotel is in Patan which is away from the noise and business of places such as Thamel yet is still close to landmarks and cultural sites. We could get to any desired place in Kathmandu within 30 minutes and in our opinion the Patan area was better kept in terms of infrastructure and pollution. The staff were very attentive and the rooms and amenities speak for themselves. They have beautiful 360 views of the city and hills/ mountains and the gym and heated spa/ pool area were great!

The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with great service where the staff were always eager to assist me with any requests, ensuring a pleasant and welcoming stay. What surprised me with this boutique hotel was the array of facilities that came with my stay; such as a spa, where I got a rejuvenating experience, as well as a gym and a heated pool area with a jacuzzi and a fascinating ‘endless’ pool. There was also a restaurant within the hotel where I tased delectable cuisines that differed from tapas to Asian cuisines such as Thai and Nepali, of course, as well as Western options; personally my favourite was the Pad Thai. There was also a cafe, Akuj Patan, where the ambience and drinks were impeccable; my favourite was the akuj breakfast and the mocha frappe. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at Shaligram hotel and was more than satisfied. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking to stay in a calm and beautiful accommodation in Kathmandu.

My quick work trip to Nepal turned into an unforgettable getaway. The heritage room was cute and comforting. The manny’s served delicious and the spa massage was just what I needed. The surrounding area were abit crowded at evening but found myself some great coffee shops

Fantastic boutique hotel with all amenities such as temperature controlled pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and 2 restaurants. Breakfast and the coffee at the cafe is fantastic. Staff is very helpful and always ready with a smile. While it's a boutique hotel and serviced apartments, it has all the comforts of a hotel.

Everything about the Shaligram was fantastic! It was really nice, while still feeling the experience of being in Nepal. The staff was incredible, and our room was amazing! It even had a full kitchen so we could could our food from time to time. My wife, 5 year old, and I loved the location as well. Tons to walk too, and an easy taxi from everything else. The restaurants, spa, and pool area was already really relaxing and fun for our child. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at the Shaligram Hotel & Spa in Lalitpur, Jawlakhel, and it was a wonderful experience! This boutique hotel is a perfect mix of Nepal's beautiful art and modern comfort. It's right in the heart of Patan, making it easy to explore the cultural treasures of the Kathmandu Valley. The rooms are cozy and well-decorated, with all the amenities you need. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The spa is a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. I loved the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail. If you’re looking for a comfortable and charming place to stay in Patan, Shaligram Hotel & Spa is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!
