Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The cafe is excellent and offers a very delicious breakfast. Location is also very good. Room is a bit old and furniture are not very nice. I would recommend the management to renovate room 36. 😉

I have been staying at Shaligram for the last 4-5 trips to Kathmandu, and has been a pleasure every time. the staff is smiling and friendly. Food is excellent. Service is very good and the hotel is has a great location and tranquil. The rooms are big and well appointed. Highly recommend the hotel.

The room was old and looked different from the impression given by the photos. However, it was well cleaned. The gas stove in the kitchen had very weak flames, and the microwave was broken. Some rooms had a musty smell or even smelled like a toilet.
The location was good, with everything necessary for daily life within walking distance, making it suitable for a long-term stay. The staff were very kind.
However, I found the price to be disproportionately high. I paid around 11,000~12,000 rupees per night (without breakfast), and my Nepali friends were so shocked. This might be the norm for accommodations in Kathmandu, but I regretted not comparing prices with other hotels more carefully.

The location is perfect, as I noticed lalitpur has a more fresh and nature orientated atmosphere compared to other areas in ktm. Manny's Eatery offers delectable Thai dishes and international cuisines in a cozy setting surrounded by nature. Akuj Café is a must-visit for its aromatic coffee and hearty breakfasts. Whether you're relaxing in the lush garden or enjoying the boutique charm of its heritage wings, this hotel is a haven in Patan and the service is above and beyond. I really enjoyed my stay and recommend this place to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

Excellent hotel, very well located a short and interesting walk to the many attractions of Pathan's Durbar Square. Room was warm, very comfortable and spacious, with water, tea, coffee and fruit provided. We had some of the best sleep since arriving in Nepal. The balcony was an excellent sunny spot. We had a very friendly arrival experience and felt very welcome. The resistance pool, sauna, steam and jacuzzi area are well worth trying. Will definitely stay here again.
