I booked 2 rooms in this hotel for one night. After we came back from dinner, we found out 3 dead cockroaches in the washroom. My friend was scared so I called the staff, they arranged to change a room which is far away (we were supposed to be next to each other). But immediately they showed their sincerity to refund us partially. The agreement was 20% of the entire booking. We had confirmed over the phone call. The guy told me that i would not need to do anything as all the refund would be credited to my credit card. I was satisfied at that time.
Then after a few days, nothing happened. When i came back from the whole journey and sent an email to this hotel, i got an initial reply asking me the booking number. But afterwards, no matter what i send to them, they no longer responds any more. It has been over 7 days already. So the agreed refund does not happen. This is totally a loss of credit.

The humidity in the room after a shower was extremely bad, making it difficult to sleep.
The body soap smelled bad.
The sofa could be turned into a bed, which was great as my child could sleep there.
Other than that, the staff were very helpful and breakfast was prepared as a takeaway for us to take to the airport, which was very convenient for our early morning departure.
Access to the airport was also good.

Stayed there to do rest and get ready before my connecting flight. First time to see a self check out, very convenient if you’re a traveler in a hurry. The bathroom was big with shampoo and body soap. The location itself is good. Just a few walks to the mall. I’d recommend it to my friends.

Great location especially if you're having a flight via terminal 3. Hotel staff are very courteous and approachable. Thanks to the beautiful receptionist for assigning me into a room with a nice airport view! ❣️
I had a good rest after my long flight. And their buffet breakfast is also good! They serve no pork for breakfast.

Holiday Inn Newport offers a decent stay with comfortable rooms and friendly staff, but considering the price is similar to Citadines, I’d personally opt for Citadines. While Holiday Inn is fine for a short stay, Citadines offers more modern amenities and a better overall value for the same price. If you’re looking for more up-to-date facilities and a livelier atmosphere, Citadines would be my choice.

The location and room design are good. However, the lack of proper maintenance and management is a concern, which may have a negative impact on the Holiday Inn brand.
In the first room, there were many ants on the desk, making it impossible to work. Also, since it was next to the maintenance room, the mechanical noises were constantly beeping, making it impossible to sleep, so I asked for a room change.
There were no ants in the room after the move, but as soon as I entered, I noticed that the light, which had been fixed with double-sided tape as a temporary measure, was hanging down. Also, the humidity in the room was high, which was uncomfortable. In addition, the room had a slight smell.

I arrived at the airport late at night and took the hotel bus.
