I booked and paid for a staycation for 4 adults, but the room did not match what was offered. The unit had one bed and a sofa bed with no extra blankets or linens, even though it was advertised for four people. The room was dusty, the sofa bed was dirty, The microwave didn’t work, and the cabinet were falling apart, which made the place feel poorly maintained. 🤢🤮
The customer service was also disappointing. The lady who assisted us was not welcoming, 🙂↕️😞and every time we tried to call, our calls were cancelled. The contact numbers provided were confusing and we were redirected multiple times, with inconsistent information when messaging them.
I hope Trip.com does not allow this kind of accommodation to be advertised without proper standards, and that the owner trains their staff to be polite and respectful. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations based on what was advertised, and I hope improvements can be made for future guests.
