A beautifully presented hotel, almost museum like, in the center of Surakarta. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, with Indonesian, Chinese and Western food. Walking distance to many sites, including Pasar Gede, Pasar Klewet, and the Keraton. Batik shopping and great coffee shops nearby. The best place to stay in Surakarta.

Staffs: Very friendly Room: 3rd floor, the view is neighbour's roof. Parking lot: very limited Breakfast: good, but there was a dead caterpillar. The chef apologized and explained the process in the kitchen. This incident was unintentional. Location: down town, close to Pasar Gede, Alun-alun, Balai Kota, Benteng, and so on. Drinking water: askthe staff for a refill Hotel theme: Javanese (and Batik) culture, with statues everywhere and masks in the room. Overall: good to excellent

I recently stayed in a Superior King Room. The room is small and might not be ideal for families, but it worked perfectly for a solo traveler. The morning breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of choices that made my stay more enjoyable. The gym facilities and the 1.4-meter swimming pool were also excellent, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend booking a massage session at the Mustika Spa. After a long trip, the therapist, Wanda, was a true professional and provided exactly the relaxation I needed. However, one downside was the bathroom door in my room, which was quite old and creaky. The management should really look into this problem and solve it

as always the best hotel in solo. Their breakfast was amazing with lots of option. It is an old hotel heritage with Javanese culture accent on their interior. Staff was amazing warm and helpful especially at the dining area. rooms were spacious and clean. but this time i was ar superior room not as big as deluxe and the room not quite cold enough. I have to call several times for checking the AC to make the room cooler. i think better booking their deluxe room cause the superior definitely not cool.

The air conditioner in the gym room is not enough, old gym facility. The breakfast has many local foods, but as oversea traveller I it’s not really fit my tastes. May be more favour towards local.

The door difficult to open ask them to come for help they didn’t come and breakfast just so so totally not nice. Very old hotel

It was very cosy and traditional hotel! The facility is old but clean and organized. I liked the breakfast the most!

It is a traditional Indonesian decor. Everyone very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was the one valve and the drain in the tub needed some repair. Other than that greatly enjoyed my stay.

Its a real nice modern place with spacious rooms. The breakfast was okay. It's located not that far from tourist attractions but you need to take a Grab to go anywhere as even crossing the large road in front is hard. There's a night food stall place across the street but again it's not so nice or easy to walk there.

My only complaint is that I was woken up several times by the music played in the pool area from 6am, which included heavy bass, and had to call reception one morning because it was so loud, later in the day it didn't matter. Everything else in the hotel was great. The service was good, the staff were friendly, my room was clean, the breakfast was fantastic. The staff are competent, and provided me with everything I needed. Gym was well equipped, and the pool was lovely. With the exception of the music played so early in the morning, my stay was wonderful and this is easily one of the best hotels I've had the pleasure of staying at.

Location at center of solo, walkable to pasar gede and batik center. On sunday, car free day infront of hotel many activities and traditional food stall
