One of the most memorable stays we have had. Valentines weekend special event hosted by Ben and Billie where our expectations were both met and exceeded. Comfortable room, superb food and entertainment and our hosts were extremely attentive and welcoming. Plenty of things to do in the area including a wine tour at a local producer which was a real eye opener into the production of sparkling wine. Can’t recommend La Grande Maison highly enough.

The gardens were very tired and unkempt. Scruffy tables and furniture was fallen apart…fag ends were in the ashtray when we arrived and were still then when we left..! I accept there had been a storm but the whole place looked very tired..!!!

We stayed 2 nights in the Garden Apartment which has a large bedroom with plenty of seating, a new bathroom and small kitchen. The kitchen was great and had a stove, fridge etc. Everything you would need. The chateau is in a very small town but a short drive away there are much larger towns and plenty of places to see - wineries, troglodite caves, to name a few. Excellent location for exploring the area. Ben was a fabulous host and gave plenty of tips on where to visit nearby. Breakfast was good value. The suite itself was also great value and it was such a lovely experience to stay there. Thanks Ben and Billie.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Ben et Billie vous réservent un super accueil. Petit-déjeuner copieux et excellent. Nous avons profité de la fraîcheur de la cave pour prendre l'apéro entre amis. Ben s'adapte à toutes les situations. Un Grand Bravo. Au plaisir de vous revoir.

Spent 3 nights in an amazing Chateau The hosts Ben & Billie made us very welcome, providing superb food, accommodation and very helpful local advice on places to visit and restaurants to dine The dinner provided at the Chateau was indeed superb and the breakfast’s really gave us a good start to the day Value for money we would highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in the area in quite a unique chateau Thank you
