Modern elegance. Very comfortable quiet and large rooms with quality bedding. Excellent service. Underground on site parking. Wi-Fi works well. Breakfast buffet is ample with outdoor seating. About 15 minute walk to the historic centre. Not a problem.

As someone who has frequented luxury accommodations like Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, I expected a certain level of service and quality when booking a stay at the Grand Hotel De la Ville Parma. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but satisfactory. From the moment my family and I arrived, we were met with rudeness and indifference from the front desk staff. Their dismissive attitude made us feel unwelcome, a stark contrast to the warm hospitality we're accustomed to, even in smaller establishments. The issues didn't end there. The rooms were not only cramped but also poorly maintained. Despite our repeated attempts to adjust the temperature, we were met with frustration and false promises from the staff.
