This was a wonderful, quiet get away. The breakfast included with our stay was superb; Along side some pastry choices were Eggs benedict one morning and made to order omelets the next. There was a main floor that was accessible at any hour to sit and watch the charter boats loading for the day or the harbors activities. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet the harbor was. There was a lot to watch, but very little noise. We slept with our window open both nights. The room was very comfortable and access to town was easy.

Great place, only thing was the lady at the front counter could have told us about the area around the hotel. Didn't mention how to get to the beach (we found it pretty easily) didn't mention there was a hose to wash off our sandy dog or ourselves. So we were all dirty and brought it with us inside the room. Overall it was a great experience. I'm just used to being spoiled. I'd definitely recommend visiting this place.

This is our go-to place when visiting the central oregon. We've celebrated an anniversary and a birthday there. We noticed that the on site restaurant has limited hours and highly encourages reservations. The Inn at Otter Crest has beautiful views of the ocean and a stairway down to the beach. The stairs take you down to the north side of the Devil's Punchbowl. It is especially amazing to explore during low tide but the ground can be slippery in certain parts. We brought a camera and took a ton of photos. We love staying at this beautifully landscaped paradise!

The Sandcastle overall was a great place to stay and we may return again in the future. I was very frustrated however that there was zero advisory that the Sandcastle was under construction. We arrived around 3:30pm on Saturday and it was very noisy in our room until about 7pm. After driving to the coast we had wanted to take a nap before dinner but that was not possible. With having higher rates on the weekends, I am very disappointed that they don't wait until during the week to do construction. We paid over $200 a night, where as during the week there are rates as low as $90. Other than the construction, our room was very nice. We enjoyed the ocean front view and fireplace in our room.

Staff was kind and flexible, however no where during booking or looking at their website did they state the pool was down for repairs… this was one of the reasons we booked this specific hotel and paid more than a local hotel without a pool. Disappointing that it wanted posted anywhere online while booking. Deceiving to say the least.

Nice hotel right on the water. The complementary coffee, cookies and soup were great to have the evening we got in. We loved the ease of access and the view on the first floor. The pool wasn’t open but the hot tub was, although we didn’t use it. 11am check out was helpful, compared to some hotels with an earlier checkout time.

We had a good stay, unfortunately the pool was an ice bath and one of the reason we chose the hotel. Next time when calling we will have to verify yes indeed there is a pool and also verify if it is a heated pool. We loved the shuffleboard table and foosball.

This hotel is operated by the Chinese surname Lee. It looks like it has been in operation for many years. It also has a Chinese restaurant and good service. The room is spacious and pleasantly surprised, with complete facilities and very good sanitary conditions. The car can be parked directly at the door of the room, which is very convenient. Although there is no air conditioning, it is completely useless in summer here.

The view is FANTASTIC. The room is in great need of updating/blowing up and starting over. There was dog hair on the couch when we arrived, they vacuumed it off after we complained. The tub/shower was plugged up the first night, so had to get up early the next day for plumber. The sink was plugged up last day...decent kitchenette. One bed in bedroom, one bed in living room (2 TV's), and one couch pull out bed that was more comfortable to sleep on as a couch. But, there were enough sleeping places for the 5 of us, and it wasn't a bad price. We'd stay there again, but I'm sure when they're done with remodel it will be much better.

Great location. Facility is in the midst of a facelift. Some things were not great. The toilet chain kept getting hung up around the flapper and the toilet flush handle was in need of replacing. I moved it around inside the tank so it would work. The TV had a slight haze to it, you got used to it. People at the front desk need to dress a little more professional. For the price I was very disappointed. For $260 you expect a nicer place.
