Hotels with Parking in Brazoria County

I stayed here over the weekend to visit my daughter who lives nearby. The check in was fine but then things quickly went down hill from there. Many of the lights in the room didn’t work and neither did the TV. I can deal with limited lighting but I had to have TV so I called down to the front desk. The same attendant who checked me in, Adina, rudely answered the phone in an irritated manner and hung up on me before I could fully explain my concerns. Maintenance was sent up to my room and the guy was incredibly nice and helpful but he couldn’t fix my TV. So they had to move me to another room. Adina’s horrible attitude impacted my trip for absolutely no reason at all. Guests should be able to call the front desk without worrying if they will annoy the staff. Especially for the more than $335 I paid for two nights. I didn’t feel very welcome because of her.

So the good- The bed was comfortable, very good air conditioning, quiet, bar attendant was attentive, wait staff attentive. The bad- Housekeeping was absent everywhere but the lobby. I am not indicating the every 3 day room cleaning as I don’t need daily attention. The fifth floor hallway had the same debris in it all week to the point I daily greeted the rubber, wrappers, and cello wrap. The carpet in my room was very dirty (someone had hole punched a document and punches were always on my feet. I had them room clean and I got fresh towels, no change to the condition of the carpet. I have been a Diamond member for quite some time and know they changed breakfast to a $10 food and beverage credit. Fine, it is nickel and diming, but fine. They credited this once in 5 days. No problem. I go to the front desk, the attendant wasn’t trained to fix this. She says she will fix, email me a corrected receipt, and give me a call to let me know it is done. Great! Other than it never happened. I have been struggling to get it corrected and a correct receipt for my expense report. Corp says on hotel can do it, hotel says only corp can do it. This is a third poor Hilton stay in the last few months. Colleagues have been having similar issues. Sorry, three strikes and guess who will not be aspiring to be Diamond or any other status next year.

This is the nicest Courtyard Property I've ever been to. They went the extra mile with putting rocks glasses in bedrooms, actual coffee mugs in bedrooms, nice furniture, a very nice bar and bistro area in the lobby, above average gym equipment, and a very cool hang out spot out back by the pool with a large gas fireplace. Additionally, the staff is also the best of any hotel in the area hands down. The manager, Richard, keeps his customers and staff happy, and everything running smoothly.

The staff went over and above in every aspect of their job, especially Stephanie & Barry. They always speak to you, remember you, ask how you are doing and do everything possible to help out and make your stay as pleasant as possible. They share information about the amenities so you are fully informed, just one of the best experiences I've had at a hotel ever. And my stays at hotels in this particular area, which have been many over the past 2 years, are not for vacation or fun, it's always about taking care of an elderly parent, so to have a comfortable, clean & restful place to come to every night means the world to me.
