This should be clearly stated in the hotel description on the booking websites. The villa itself is well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with everything you need. The beds and linens are of good quality, the toiletries are nice, and the bathroom is modern and clean. The air conditioner is quiet, but the external unit is quite noisy. The exterior and garden are lovely and clean. The breakfast buffet was subpar, with cold food and coffee that required guests to microwave (completely in Chinese) it themselves, which was also a major inconvenience. Yet, the variety and quality of food was good and tasty. The staff seemed indifferent to the lack of coffee and food, and the lady who came to ”check” on us only brought coffee when we asked. Overall, our stay was satisfactory, but this place definitely needs to improve its hospitality and guest service. Given the above this place is too overpriced.

You can go to the town to buy it and then ask the boss to help process it. During the processing, you can wash and clean up, and then you can go to the restaurant for dinner. It is really comfortable. The lights are on at night, the homestay is super beautiful, and there is also a swimming pool, you can let go and take pictures. If you bring children, it is also a good place for leisure and entertainment. It is also very convenient to go to the airport. You can ask the boss to help you book a car to pick you up and pay the fare. The boss will arrange it for you. It is really a wonderful experience. Here, you can really feel the joy of vacation. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is a paradise. Also, when we came that day, it was noon, and there was no room available. I was also very tired and didn’t want to go out. The boss also asked very considerately, and then let us eat something first. Although it was breakfast, it was delicious for us who had just finished the plane. There was also free mineral water. For us who were tired at the time, our hearts were really warm. Of course, the price may be slightly more expensive than other hotels in town, but it is really not expensive for his service. You can also buy fresh seafood from the local market and ask the chef to prepare it however you like for a very reasonable fee. The food, prepared by the owner and chef who hail from Guangdong, was the best I’ve tasted in Semporna. Each dish was bursting with flavor, showcasing authentic Chinese cuisine at its finest. The resort is about 15 minutes from Semporna town, but they offer a free shuttle service to and from the town, which makes it incredibly convenient for guests. At night, there’s outdoor karaoke under the stars, creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the resort had a homely vibe, with the owner and staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The resort itself is new, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. I felt right at home the entire time. The peaceful surroundings, combined with excellent service and food, made this a perfect getaway. To note that the staff mainly communicates in Mandarin, so knowing a bit of the language would be helpful. I stayed here for a night after a 5 day dive trip and this was the perfect place to unwind and relax. I loved my stay so much that I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in Semporna!

Stayed alone with my baby for three nights! It is not an exaggeration to describe the whole Semporna as dirty and messy. This hotel is considered good in the local area. There is a chef from Shunde. If you buy seafood, the chef can process it for a fee. The hotel provides a car to the pier and town. If you tell the boss 30-40 minutes in advance, he will satisfy you. The local big grab seems to charge different fees according to different time periods. In addition, I forgot to bring my bag when I went out the next day after the first night of my stay. I found that my RMB and MYR were half gone when I came back at night. After telling the hotel, I would check the surveillance to help confirm. As a result, there was no feedback the next morning. I contacted Ctrip and they said that the hotel cooperated with me to call the police. I want to say that I am alone with my baby and I want to call the police. My personal safety is not worth mentioning compared to the 800 yuan. Why do I remember it so clearly? Because I ordered RMB myself the night before, and I also took the Malaysian ringgit in the town the night before, so I remember it clearly that half of it was missing. After arguing with the hotel manager for a long time, the hotel manager said that he would compensate me in full, but for various reasons, I took half, and told the hotel manager that the remaining half would be returned to me after you find the thief. In fact, the hotel cleaners are all locals, and they are really not worthy of any trust. There are two Chinese and one Malaysian Chinese in the hotel, and of course they are very nice. If the management of employees and the service during check-in can be strengthened, I believe that staying in this hotel in Semporna is a good choice.

We did not expect such a small private property of hotel with this cheap price can provide so lovely and clean room , room is super clean , not very big but enough for 2 person and with all basic equipment that u need , simple breakfast and helpful staff , everything is good , will come back again if have chance .

11/10 would book again. Super clean, lots of amenities (stove, laundry, kitchen), free bread and instant noodles. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Best accommodation for its price point, highly highly recommend!!

Very good! I read the reviews and thought it was good, so I booked a 4-night stay. The boss's family can communicate in Chinese very well, and you can contact her on WeChat if you have any questions. Airport pick-up is a charge, but it is cheaper than taking a taxi on Grab. When I arrived on the first day, it was afternoon and I didn't report the island hopping itinerary. After asking the boss's wife, I reported a half-day tour of the mangrove forest. It was pretty good and I could really see a lot of fireflies. The room facilities are very new and clean, with a hair dryer and mosquito repellent, and the hot water for bathing is also stable. Our room is on the first floor, but there is no situation that others say that there are people talking in the public area late at night. Maybe the guests living with us are relatively quiet. The sound insulation is really not very good. If people walk upstairs, we can hear the sound in our room. There is a buffet breakfast every day, and the boss's wife will buy mangosteen for us to eat. Mangosteen is super delicious and cheap! On the last day, we had to leave for the airport at 5 am, and the boss's wife also contacted a car to send us to the airport, which did not delay the trip at all, and the price was reasonable. The schedule was full every day so I forgot to take pictures of the hotel, so I'll post a picture of breakfast ~ Anyway, I highly recommend it!

At first u have to wait the receptionist to open the door for u as the reception is at the second floor while the door entrance is at the first floor. The room is just nice, clean, quite and comfortable. It’s more like hostel look so i think it’s quite expensive for a hotel. Otherwise i enjoyed the stay.
