JJunichiBecause it is an old inn, about half of the beach in front of you is the area of this inn. Todaya Hotel exceeded my expectations. I thought it was just an ordinary local Japanese-style hotel, but it turned out to be very large, with two buildings, a large public bath, an open-air bath, and several free private baths for families. There are quite a few medals at the front desk.
The room size is not large among Japanese-style rooms, but it is more spacious than ordinary modern rooms. Western-style beds are also more comfortable. The dinner was quite rich, with both Japanese and Western flavors, and the freshly roasted beef was delicious. Breakfast is on the top floor of the South Building, facing the sea, with a great view. There are also many dining options.
Mikimoto Pearl Island and Toba Aquarium are nearby.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location, close to the bus stop, and only a few steps to the beach. They have free shuttle bus from the hotel to Toba station at 9.00 and 10 a.m. The staff are accommodating and some speak some English.
The area is very beautiful and peaceful but very local. If you are planning a trip here make sure you stock up snacks from the convenient stores because there are no 7-11, Lawson, or any Family Mart within walking distance. If you would like to have breakfast and dinner at a hotel please inform them when you make booking or a few days in advance. People are very nice but language can be a barrier.
