"The room is over 40 square meters. Located in the new city, just opposite the county government, there are enough parking spaces in front of the door, and there is a central square, no square dance, very quiet. The hotel's new facilities are new with smart smallness and smart toilets.
The breakfast was full and there were prawns to eat. There is a supper at 9 pm. This is never the case. The reception was warm and helped with the luggage. Thank you!"

From Buddy, transfer in Weixi. This hotel is more expensive in the local area, the whole house is intelligent and very clean! This is very important for people who want to have a good rest. The bathroom is also very clean!
The only downside is that the smell of smoke in the house is very heavy. If you change a room, there is still a clear smell of smoke. The air conditioner is still heavy after a while. Hey 😑

After coming here to experience, I had to admire the wisdom of the ancestors. I felt that it was dawn, and I also admired the owner of the hotel for 7 years to build the first domestic health complex, including:

Very comfortable, I had to give a thumbs up after the boss introduced the brand, I can say that in order for the guests who come here to sleep well, I am really willing to spend money, it is worth it!

The restaurant staff are all local villagers. The meal process feels their thoughtfulness and hospitality. The breakfast memory is relatively deep with local salty butter tea and fried wontons. There is also a super warm real fire fireplace.

When I planned my Yunnan trip and asked AI to help me (because of the lack of online information in English), and it recommended me to go to Tacheng to see the snub-nosed monkeys, little did I know that nothing could be done there without a car.
Fellow travelers, just so you know: there are no bus stations nor taxis in Tacheng. I of course only realized it once I arrived. I felt dumb (no I do not have a car nor a driver), but the hotel’s owner was super kind and gave my friend and I free roundtrip rides, to the hotel and in the early morning to the Snub-nosed Monkey Park (that is closeby).
Because the closest restaurant was 42 km away, we were given a generous and delicious dinner. (It was supposed to be 50 rmb but at the end the boss made it free.) I’m vegetarian and the boss accommodated me. The breakfast, that was included in the price, was also generous and delicious.
As for the hotel, it was beautiful and comfortable. There’s a really nice living room (we were given free fruits and free beer!) and a really nice patio as well. The room was clean, the pillows were so soft and the shower was surprisingly techno. I slept very well, even though a rooster started to crow in the early morning (so remember to close the window before going to sleep). In the evening, we walked in the surroundings and I liked it so much, it was picturesque and peaceful.
My stay in Tacheng could’ve been a nightmare but thanks to the hotel’s owner, I really enjoyed it (and I got to see the famous snub-nosed monkeys!) So I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, where I didn’t expect so much kindness and generosity.

I was a little reserved when I first arrived and wanted to say that the lady boss and the boss looked cool, but after getting along with me, I found that they were actually warm and hospitable. I was traveling alone and they allowed me to eat and drink for free, which I was very grateful for (this was not included in the room rate). If you have the patience to read the long article, please read below~~~
Tacheng is a low-key town. I accidentally discovered on the Internet that Yunnan golden monkeys can be seen there (a rare animal I saw on TV when I was a child!!). Without a Chinese driver's license, I could only take a bus from Shangri-La to Tacheng (later I discovered that there are also ride-hailing services). When I arrived at the station, I couldn't get a taxi, so I bothered the boss to pick me up and take me to the B&B, which also opened up this opportunity. A warm stay experience.
I originally planned to stay only one night and then leave after watching the Golden Monkey the next morning, but because I overslept for two consecutive days (the bed must have been so sleepy, the landlady couldn’t wake me up even if she knocked on the door 😭), I accidentally stayed here for four days. I laughed for three days and nights, and received a lot of care, and because of this, I was able to discover this friendly and beautiful town and its people even more.
Participating in making and enjoying delicious meals, going to the farmhouse to feed the chickens, visiting relatives’ homes nearby to eat, and being surrounded by friendly friends. These are my precious travel moments, and I will definitely want to visit again in the future☺️

GGuest UserIn just 2 days in the B&B, the experience was very pleasant! The B&B was built on the terraces. Although mid-to-late May is the season for wheat harvesting and transplanting, you can still feel the beauty of the terraces. I believe it will be more beautiful when the wheat grows up in July and August. At 5-6 pm, I listened to the gurgling water beside the wheat field, and the cool breeze drifted with the fragrance of wheat ears. This is my ideal pastoral life. Before coming, I made a guide and knew that the Songzan Hotel opposite organized folk experience activities. I asked the boss of Yulin where there were such activities. I didn’t expect that the B&B had them. This time we chose to visit the Naxi people, put on Naxi ethnic costumes, learn to grind tofu, make rice cakes, pick strawberries (strawberries are super sweet, especially small and red ones), and grind beans to make tofu brain and soy milk. The soy milk ground by the traditional method is fragrant! I also tasted a sumptuous farmhouse dish! I heard that the B&B will also have activities to pick mushrooms in the primeval forest in June and July. Friends like this kind of experiential activity very much. I hope that the B&B owners will do better and better in the future. I believe that people who know you will like your B&B and activities, as well as your hospitality!

Let me first talk about the areas that I would like to improve: The road from the hotel to the hotel is a mechanized farming road with many large bends that can only accommodate one car. There are ditches on both sides, and basically only cars can pass near the hotel. When I left the hotel, I reversed several times to let the hotel's two business cars and one off-road vehicle pass (I let the hotel's car pass!), which delayed at least half an hour. And I felt that the hotel driver was particularly unfriendly.
2. Simply speaking, the environment and service of the hotel are good. The hotel's ham and chicken soup are very good, and the portion is relatively large. If the weather is good, you can see the starry sky (there is little light pollution around)
3. Because it is a wooden building, the sound insulation is not very good, and it is a bit of a headache when encountering children playing.
4. It is mainly convenient to see golden monkeys in the morning, and staying for one night is enough. (Except for being in a daze). There are not many other activities, and the surrounding villages are not very ethnic.

When I was looking for a nearby hotel on Ctrip, I found the highest-rated Weixi Tianyu Tacheng Boutique Inn. The hotel is very close to the Golden Monkey National Park. I decided to give it a try. I checked into Weixi Tianyu Tacheng Boutique Inn with my mentality, and finally got a very good accommodation experience.
Weixi Tianyu Tacheng Boutique Inn is located in Tacheng Town surrounded by green mountains. The geographical location and natural environment are very good. It can be seen that the hotel design is fresh and unique, and many details are very careful. The hotel building has both a courtyard garden landscape and a large rice field. With the rolling green hills, sitting on the balcony of the room facing the unique pastoral scenery, it is very relaxing and refreshing, which makes people forget to leave. I really want to stay here quietly for two more days. I feel that this is really a very good leisure vacation choice. The service staff at Tianyu Tacheng are very active and enthusiastic, and the service is timely and thoughtful. The room is spacious and has good facilities. The shower room and toilet are clean and easy to use. The view outside the restaurant window is picturesque. The dinner is delicious and not expensive. It is very cost-effective. The rice noodles and butter tea for breakfast also taste great. Since our itinerary was already scheduled, we were a little regretful that we could only stay one night and leave. I heard that after the completion of the Jinsha River Hydropower Project, the beautiful scenery in front of us will be submerged under the water and become a reservoir area, and Tacheng Town will be relocated and rebuilt into a tourist demonstration area. I was very moved when I heard the boss of Gongbuludu from Tianyu Tacheng talk about the development history of Tianyu Tacheng and the grand plan to rebuild Tacheng. I sincerely hope to come here again in a while, facing the green rice fields and green mountains, it is so quiet. Stay for a few days, carefully experience the scenery of this otherworldly countryside and record the beautiful scenery in front of you. I hope to return to Tacheng in a few years to witness the magnificent achievements of the Jinsha River Hydropower Project and the happy life of the people of Tacheng after reconstruction.

GGuest UserWe had a great stay at this family-fun guesthouse (we are a family of three, travelling with a 3-year-old). The owners were super-friendly and very generous - they offered us complimentary fruit, including watermelon from their own field behind, wild honey, and even cooked some wild mushrooms that we had picked in the woods for us (after double-checking that they were edible!)
The guestrooms are clean, light, comfortable and spacious - and there is air conditioning available in case it's slightly warmer in the summer months. The mattresses were also fairly comfortable.
The location is great - next to a river, about a 10-minute drive up from Tacheng Town. This makes getting to the monkey reserve and Damozushi Temple (the main attractions) more convenient.
On the food side, the breakfast was hearty to the extreme and varied from day to day, with various local specialties including local ******* Yak Butter Tea. Pretty much everything was homemade. You can also eat there in the evenings to avoid driving to town - and the lady that runs it is a great cook.
Other pros include the lovely decking by the river and the walkway that the village has developed along the river bank - perfect for a morning/evening stroll, or in our case, taking our little one for a spin on her balance bike.
We live in Lijiang, so not too far away - and will definitely be coming back to stay here again.
这次我们带着三岁的小宝贝，全家三口人在这家很有家庭味的客栈住得特别开心。老板夫妻特别热情大方，请我们吃自家地里种的西瓜、野蜂蜜，还帮我们把在山里采的野生菌烹调好（还贴心地先确认能不能吃），味道真是一绝！
房间干净明亮，宽敞舒适，夏天稍热的时候还有空调可用，床垫也挺舒服的，睡得很踏实。
位置很好，就在河边，离塔城镇开车大概十分钟。去猴子保护区和达摩祖师庙这些景点都很方便。
早餐丰盛得不得了，而且天天不重样，还有不少当地特色，比如藏族的酥油茶，基本都是自家做的。晚餐也可以直接在客栈吃，省得开车去镇上，老板娘手艺没得说。
另外，河边的露台和村里沿河修的栈道都很美，早晚散步很舒服，我们还带着孩子在那儿骑平衡车，玩得不亦乐乎。
我们平时生活在丽江，离这里不算远，以后一定会再来！

I had dinner downstairs and it was great value. I completely over ordered but they packed it up for me which was great
Stayed there to try and see the Yunnan Snub Nosed Monkeys.
Sadly I found out that the park was closed because of landslides. Nothing the hotel could have done about it, and they were helpful in arranging a bus back to Shangri-La once I'd found out.
No English was spoken, but they would help me through my translate app where I asked them.
