There is free fruit tea in the lobby. I have also experienced their breakfast before, which is also very rich. The transportation is convenient, with a park at the door and Wanda Plaza and Shangzhou Night Market nearby. In short, it is very convenient for traveling or shopping and eating. If you don’t want to go out, you can order takeout and a small robot will deliver the food to the door of your room. And washing and drying clothes is free, which is great. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe overall environment of Tianlu Hotel in Shangnan County has been widely praised, but the quality of breakfast has become an obvious shortcoming in the guests' experience. In terms of the environment, the hotel is located on the southwest side of Shangnan Cultural Square, with convenient surrounding transportation and a garden-style design. The guest rooms are spacious and equipped with independent balconies. Some room types offer quiet garden or mountain views. When checking in, you can also walk through the corridor to experience the courtyard landscape. The overall atmosphere is elegant and comfortable. In addition, the hotel has complete facilities, including a spa, gym, tennis courts, etc. Free parking and Wi-Fi are also provided in public areas, which is suitable for self-driving tourists or business people to relax.
However, the breakfast experience has been repeatedly criticized. Although the hotel advertises that it has a rich breakfast variety, actual guests reported that the dishes were monotonous and in short supply, especially during peak hours (such as after 8 o'clock) where there might be ”leftovers”. One guest even mentioned that ”there was not much left when we arrived at 8:40”. The breakfast content was evaluated as ”not refined enough”, which was inconsistent with the hotel's four-star positioning, and the buffet at 30 yuan per person was not cost-effective. In addition, there are problems with service details. For example, some guests believe that the attitude of the front desk staff is not professional enough and does not match the hotel's high-end image.

It is really good to live with the mentality of giving it a try. It can be called the only hotel in the county with breakfast, afternoon tea snacks, the room is equipped with a self-service foot bath, the price is very close to the people, the breakfast tastes very good, can taste it is made by locals, tastes good. The service at the front desk was also very thoughtful, and the young lady smiled on her face. Talking is also very interesting, the room is well decorated, the atmosphere is high-grade, and the facilities are complete. The hotel also has free laundry service. I asked the front desk. The aunt on the floor went to the room to pick up dirty clothes. After washing, drying them, and then the eldest sister sent them to the room. Afternoon tea is also delivered to the room, and you can enjoy these services without leaving the room. Really good

Check-in was quick and we were given a pass for free entry to vineyard and two small bottles of wine. An extra key card was also provided upon request. No deposit had to be made.
The receptionist didn’t seem to have a lot of experience in handling booking confirmations shown in English language, but they quickly found it in their system instead.
Rooms:
Quite spacious and with all the furniture. It had a sofa set, 4 chairs with side tables along with a working desk and chair as well. Bedroom had a king size bed and a side sofa as well. The living room had a small balcony which allows you to enjoy the view outside. The lights were automatic and all buttons were touch operated.
Air conditioner took some time and were not always able to reach the desired temperature. Luckily the weather was good.
Amenities:
The mini bar refrigerator seem to have been removed during our visit; but there was tea, coffee and two complementary water bottles, a big 5 liter jar of drinking water was also in the room which only costed 5 RMB. We didn’t try the gym but a walk around the pond was quite pleasant.
Bathroom:
The bathroom was big, fitted with a bathtub and good water pressure. Hot water was always available but not sure why it was yellow in color; should be fine for bathing I guess.
The shower only worked in one mode and drain seemed a bit broken. Shower gel bottle was only filled up to a quarter of its capacity but seemed enough as we didn’t have to ask for a refill. There was no shaving kit found among disposables but all other items were there.
Service:
The room service was great and the food that we ordered from hotel restaurant arrived within 20 minutes. They also cleaned the room when we went out in the morning and provided a fresh set of towels and other amenities. Reception always provided the directions but no one accompanied us to the room after check-in. They always had a smile on and helped us with all our queries.

The rooms are very clean, all things are working well. hot shower, very very cosy and clean beds.
I will definitely come again amd bring my guests there,as this hotel is now my number one in Shangluo.
There's a local food street and several big supermarkets just around the corner, very convenient location.
