GGuest UserA truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan
I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands.
I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of.
During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service.
But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing.
This was not a tourist activity.
It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries.
My conclusion:
This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

We were among the first to go up the mountain, so there was no crowding at all. I had originally planned my own itinerary to explore from top to bottom. On the day we checked in, the host was very thoughtful and recommended a great sightseeing route that perfectly leveraged the hotel's location. The Huangjing tea at the hotel was delicious, so I bought a can to take home.

GGuest UserThe misty rain was on Jiuhua Mountain, the air was humid and cold, but I couldn't feel it at all when I entered the house. The reception girl and the aunt were very warm. They warmly opened the floor heating in the room in advance. The room was warm and comfortable. The quilt was dry and tidy and smelled very clean. Because I took the elderly, I lived for two days, most of the time I ate in the store. The kitchen was very clean and tasted good. It was no different from the outside restaurant. I also warmly helped us leave the chicken soup that was not finished to the evening. I used to come to Jiuhuashan every year, this time I lived the most comfortable time. There are two important bus stops on Jiuhua Mountain: Yingxianqiao Station, the final stop for buses from the tourist service center at the foot of the mountain, and Huxingshan Bus Station, the starting and ending point for the circular bus service around the mountain. Ruyi B&B is very close to both stations. Many popular restaurants, supermarkets, fruit shops, and pharmacies are also nearby, making it very convenient. The B&B is newly renovated and clean. The owners are warm and friendly, and always accommodating.

They readily offer pick-up and drop-off services whenever needed. The place is spotlessly clean. Dinner in the courtyard was incredibly enjoyable, followed by several delightful rounds of tea. This trip to Jiuhua was truly perfect. Many thanks to the owners; we'll definitely be back!

We arrived by high-speed train, and the hotel arranged a pick-up for us directly from the scenic area's entrance. On our departure day, we could leave our luggage at the front desk. Later, after we came down from the mountain, a simple call to the hotel was enough, and they sent staff to deliver our luggage to us. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent bed and breakfast hotel for visiting the Great Wish Cultural Park to worship the Great Wish Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.
Sitting in the room or on the balcony, opposite is the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva statue with a huge energy field. Although the location is close to the road, there are no big cars. It is very clean and comfortable to rest in the morning and evening. You can worship Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva in the room or on the balcony, which is very special. The room is spacious, bright, clean and tidy. It is equipped with a whole-house intelligent system, which is very convenient. The boss and his wife are very nice and will give some travel tips. Free pick-up and drop-off from the cultural park and the scenic spot gate. There are many good hotels at the west gate of the Cultural Park. It is a 3-minute drive from the visitor center and half an hour from the Jiuhuashan High-speed Railway Station. The location is excellent.
I will stay at Jiuhuashan Chaoshan next time I come back.

You can drive to the Dayuan Cultural Park to pick me up. Send me to the Huatai cableway on the third morning. Jiuhua Mountain Bus is convenient to take, do not have to queue up at the visitor center, you can get on the bus at the door of the house.
