Dinner was prepared for us by the owner himself, and it was excellent! We highly recommend eating there. As mentioned, the hotel is a bit remote, but with your own car or a Didi, you can easily explore the surrounding sights from there.

The hotel is very new, the whole house is small and intelligently controlled, and the floor-to-ceiling windows can see the night view of the whole city. The sanitary details are full, the bathroom has no smell, and the bedding is soft and not stuffy. Free oversized parking lot is friendly by car, and there is a self-service laundry room. Wow - wonderful. This is actually a Movenpick hotel which I wasn’t aware of when I booked it. When my didi took me here I wasn’t sure if it was the right place as it seemed such an expensive looking hotel for what I paid. Everything about the hotel is luxurious down to the pillows and towels. Location is near the centre of town with a nearby BBQ outdoor place and KFC if that’s your thing. Breakfast has a good choice of mainly Chinese offerings with cereal and toast but not butter on offer too. Staff had limited English but were friendly and helpful even adding my WeChat and offering to assist if needed.

I thought it would be very basic, but it's actually a very cozy two-story building! The first floor has a toilet and a small bed, and the second floor has tatami mats and a balcony! Very clean, a pleasant surprise! 4. The owner is very nice and introduced nearby attractions, very welcoming! 5. The only slight drawback is that the auntie's education might be limited; she was busy with other things when I checked in and didn't give me a card or check me in. When I suggested checking in first, I found that the toilet had been used by tourists and hadn't been cleaned; there was urine on the toilet seat. The sink and shower area had items left by the previous guest, and the first-floor mattress was wrinkled and had some leaf scraps. The auntie came in around 8 PM to ask for a deposit, saying she'd send it in a group chat. However, her phone seemed to be malfunctioning; she stood in our room for about 20 minutes without us understanding what was going on and wouldn't leave… She didn't close the door when she came in, letting mosquitoes in. The next day, when we checked out to return the room key, we couldn't find her either, and she didn't answer our calls… While exploring Yan Yi Wei, when we reached the inner walled village, she said we couldn't visit unless we were guests, and we had to explain that we were guests… It was so difficult… 6. The soundproofing was a bit poor. A group of guests were still chatting at the entrance at 10:30 PM. I could hear them from both the first and second floors, and the smoke even seeped into the first floor. However, after being reminded, they immediately packed up and went back inside, so it didn't affect our sleep. In short, the guesthouse style is fantastic! Aside from a few minor issues, I highly recommend staying here!
