Hotels with Parking in Thompson-Nicola

We stayed in one of the canvas cabins, it was very spacious and clean. We also did the rafting which was spectacular. The beds were quite comfortable. Staff were amazing, super friendly and very helpful. But the Shared restroom area was not overly clean and there were many wasps. Wasps were also buzzing around the cabin areas, and there were quite few. It is that time of the year when wasps are plentiful. Knowing this is an issue we will be more prepared next time. But definitely we will be back, we had a great time and the owner Bernie is awesome 😁

Our room is so spacious for 4 of us (with some big luggages). The bed is super comfy. At first I hesitated to book this hotel because I thought it’s too far from downtown, but apparently there are so many restaurants and supermarket in the area. The “downtown” area is not as nice as this hotel. The reception staffs (2 men) were super nice and helpful. I asked if we could borrow electric kettle and the staff gave me right away. We had a good rest.

This is a great rest stop on the way from Vancouver to Banff National Park. There are many reasonably priced hotels in this small town. Staying at a Hampton for under $700 is quite nice, and breakfast is included, so you don't have to worry about what to eat.

Heard reviews of car thefts at the parking lot that got us worried but there was none of it during our stay. Car park was pretty well lit. The room we got initially had a broken door that couldn’t lock so we had to pack up and move to another room. Happy that the hotel upgraded us a suite as they were not able to find a room that had the same layout as the one we booked.

A very comfortable stay with all the necessary amenities in the room. The breakfast was wonderful and had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend it. And a great view of course! 

We stayed for 1 night. It took some time to check in at around 4:30 pm. The front desk person took a bit to register the small group ahead of us. The room was clean and spacious but we found it dark specially in the bathroom. The bedside lamp with the plugs initially didn't work. But we figured out that the plug it was plugged in wasn't working so we switched the alarm clock plug with the lamp plug and it worked. We were able to charge our phones finally. The AC works well using the thermostat on the wall. The gym was nice. But there's no pool unfortunately. The patrons will have to forever use the pool across in the other building. The breakfast included was just so-so. The space for breakfast was really crammed. Unfortunately, there was no freshly made waffles or pancakes or bacon or sausages. The lady that was attending breakfast didn't clean the tables at all. The tables were still dirty when we were checking out of the hotel. Our stay was comfortable. We were able to get a later check out time thankfully. We might stay here again. I'm hoping the breakfast offerings will include waffles or pancakes and bacon or sausages in the future. And clean tables. That'll be wonderful!

It’s an okay place to stay for a night after a long journey. Unfortunately, the pool was out of order during our stay due to a broken heater. We tried the hot tub, but the water was too hot to get in. Breakfast was basic, nothing special. The hallway was very cold, and the draft made its way into our room. The bathroom had a strange smell, but it appeared clean.

The hotel is cleaner and spacious than expected. We arrived on August 15. The hotel helped turn on the heating before we checked in. The room was already very warm when we arrived. Although the hotel is on the side of the road, the sound is good and the night is very quiet. I will stay if I have the opportunity next time. The only pity is that there is no fitness equipment. There is a gas station 200 meters away from the hotel, which is a ”gas station ⛽️” for the next journey.

Comfortable bed and nice place, close to center, there is a nice restaurant around hotel, Danney’s.beautiful street.

Hotel looks old but place was convenient. Breakfast was so so. Still a nice & comfortable stay for a relatively affordable price.
