Hi. We arrived on Wednesday June 11th for a two night stay. Pleasant greeting at the main office and were given directions to our second level 1 bedroom condo , in the 500 building. Thursday morning we were called by the manager, as a heads up that workers would need access to our deck for a couple hours of work . Workers did not complete the work that day, and we had no use of, or access to our deck . Disappointing as we were planning on bar-b-queuing Supper on the deck. I texts pictures to the manager showing the missing deck rails, and heard nothing back. The room itself was clean and fully self contained with adequate amenities for our stay. Really wish we had been given notice at check in of the repairs being done to the 500 building they put us in, or maybe tried to put us somewhere else during our two day stay. If not for that experience, I would have given the facilities a 4 or 5 star rating.

We picked this property based on location and price. The excellent reviews are worth it. It was clean and the staff were very nice and the amenities were surprising. I would have wanted to use the e-bikes, but we didn't have time. We did enjoy the hot tub.

Great stay here. We got a restaurant voucher for passing on room cleaning when we were only staying one night anyway.  We got coffee for the second morning, so I didn’t feel like I was missing anything.  The room was clean and bright.  The restaurant had a great breakfast.  There is also a good gym.  I was very comfortable.

A nice hotel and a beautiful old building in Cranbrook. We booked the queen room but got upgraded to a king, which was very clean and comfortable. Lovely views out the window, and the free parking is nice. We would absolutely make this top of the list next time we're in Cranbrook.

We were impressed by the spacious and artistry designed suite. Proper kitchenware and laundry room. You need to bring your own detergent or purchase downstairs the lobby. The entire suite has very good lighting for make up, especially the bathroom sink area. There is a gas operated BBQ outside the patio, but we didn’t use it during the winter. Location is good, 1 min to the gas station & supermarket, 10 mins to Radium Hot Spring. There are indoor swimming pool & hot tub, and one outdoor swimming pool. Unfortunately, the pool table can be accessed only if you rent the entire board room for a fee. We love to come back next time probably in the summer, to explore more the hotel amenities and the golf course.

Nice room, with a very good bed and bedding. Good breakfast although limited choices.close to the Hot Springs pools. Walking distance to several restaurants. Classic interior architecture. Ample free parking.Quiet location away from traffic but close to shops and restaurants and a food store. We would stay again.

The facility is poorly maintained. There was visible mold throughout the unit, especially in the bathroom. The hair dryer didn’t work, the coffee maker was dirty, fridge wasn’t cooling well, no ice machine, there were insects around the room, and the place was noticeably dusty. My wife even started having an asthma attack due to the poor air quality. For $420 a night, I expected much better. Staff are very friendly though. And the location is great!

The Alpen Motel was very clean and well located between Radium Hot Springs Village and the hot springs themselves. The Sinclair canyon is a beautiful sight a short walk up the hill. The room was small, but had everything needed including AC for the uncharacteristically hot weather. The whole experience was very hands off, with the office being at the Apple Tree Inn across the street. Unfortunately housekeeping did not come while we were out, so we did not have refreshed coffee for the second morning. The power also went out twice (night and then again in the morning) and there was no backup power source. This is of course no fault of the hotel’s, but it would have been nice to have an emergency light source in the room.

Rocky Mountain self-driving to stay at this hotel in the hot spring, the overall law is quite satisfactory, did not step on the thunder. Stayed for three nights. I like the convenience of parking the most. Get off the bus and go directly to the door. It is especially worry-free to drive with a bunch of outdoor equipment. The price is very friendly in the hot spring town. There are two shortcomings: the room will have unknown bugs, the shower water pressure is weak, the water is a bit small, in addition, everything else is OK. It is very convenient to have a refrigerator in the room, you can get some ice water to drink on the road. Checked in Olive Lake, Numa Falls, Marble Canyon, Paint Pots, Continental Divide, the natural scenery of Rocky Mountain exceeded expectations, the lake, canyon, color mineral springs have charms, soaked Radium Hot Springs Aquacourt on the way, very comfortable, can also exfoliate, soak the skin slippery. Unfortunately, Sinclair Canyon closed and couldn't go. It is recommended to stay if the budget is ordinary and used for overnight rest.
