"This was an interesting hotel. It is in the ChongPing gorge so a little bit complicated to get to. Luckily the hotel has a shuttle service to pick you up from the outside of ChongPing. Reception staff are very attentive and welcoming. The room was nice as and well furnished. They are doing construction so the building being constructed takes away from the view, but the mountain is still visible from the rooms and the roof, and a couple of minute walk gets you a clean view."

"Hotel room is moderate, but the best part of the hotel are the staffs. They are eager to provide excellent customer service, promoting a positive, helpful and friendly environment. No surprise why people gave 10/10 feedback. We stayed here for two nights and had three meals at the hotel. The food was also great especially fried rice with eggs. 10-15 minutes walking distance from Changpinggou and siguniangshan transport center whate we bought our bus tickets to Dugiangyan. Strongly recommended!"

"Our stay here was absolutely worth every penny. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warmth and attentiveness of the entire team. The service truly went above and beyond — every staff member was incredibly friendly, offering great advice on where to visit around Chengdu, and even thoughtfully prepared an oxygen bottle for our trip to the national park. A special highlight was the hotel’s manager personally offering us a car ride to the national park — such an unexpected and generous gesture that made our journey even more comfortable and memorable. On our first night, we enjoyed a delicious hotpot at the hotel, and on the second night, we tried other Chinese dishes — every meal was authentic and absolutely delicious. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a stunning view, making it a perfect place to relax after a full day of exploring. This was without a doubt one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We left with full hearts and amazing memories. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Chengdu — we would love to come back again!"

"The location of the B&B is very good. It is the closest to the gate of Shuangqiaogou. We originally planned to arrive a day in advance to adapt to the high altitude. After arriving, we watched TV in the house for a few hours and everything was fine. Who knew that the child vomited due to altitude sickness at night. Thank you very much to the boss for driving us to the town clinic to see a doctor in the middle of the night. We breathed oxygen for an hour. The boss waited for us in the clinic for an hour before taking us back. The next day, maybe we got used to it and continued to be a running wild horse without discomfort."

"The name on Trip.com is Siguniang Mountain Qingfeng Xiaozhu Homestay, but the actual name on the hotel sign is The Snow Journey Hotel or The Monk Under The Mountain. The room we stayed in had a bathtub right by the window, and when you looked outside, you could see the mountains and the river—so beautiful! During our 4-day, 3-night stay, we experienced both snowy views and views of the melting snow, giving us a variety of atmospheres. Every corner was perfect for taking photos, and in the mornings, we could just lie in bed and enjoy the view. ---- Details ---- In the room, there’s a bed that you can adjust to make it warm, so the bed stays cozy. The bathroom also has a heating system, which was great because it was below freezing when we went. After coming back from the cold outdoors, taking a warm shower was absolutely wonderful! The bathtub is the highlight of the room! Soaking in warm water while enjoying the beautiful view was totally worth it. They provide all the basic amenities you might need, and if you’re missing anything, you can pick it up at the lobby. They have a table with various items (near the ”wish tree”) that you can take for free. Or you can message them on WeChat to request anything. Upon check-in, the staff will serve you tea and snacks and ask to add you on WeChat for easier communication since they speak very little English. Communicating via WeChat was very easy and convenient, and they were very quick to respond and always offered help. The lobby has a fireplace, cozy seating, a dining table, and sometimes in the evenings, they play music or karaoke. The rooftop on the 5th floor has a place to sit and enjoy the view, along with a washing machine and drying racks, which is great for those staying for an extended period. ---- Services ---- The hotel is a bit off the main road, but the service is excellent. There are three staff members: a woman, a man (probably the owner), and a housekeeper. The woman takes care of everything from check-ins to preparing breakfast (which you can request for an additional 28 RMB per person), and even dinner. During our stay, we wanted to go somewhere, and if she was free, she offered to pick us up and drop us off. The care and attention were top-notch! ---- A Lovely Experience ---- The woman who took care of us was really sweet. When we went to the Four Sisters Mountain, she helped us book a car for 15 RMB per person. On the way back, I didn’t book a ride because I wasn’t sure when we’d leave the park, and I thought I could easily grab a Didi taxi. But I was wrong! I couldn’t find a Didi near the park, and to make matters worse, my phone died (from taking too many pictures). I ended up walking around trying to find a taxi, showing the hotel card and gesturing to the drivers that I needed to go back to the hotel. I finally found a taxi that agreed to take me back for the same price (15 RMB per person). The taxi dropped us off close to the hotel but got stuck behind a snowplow, so we had to walk the rest of the way. On the way, we spotted the hotel car and the woman who had been worried and looking for us. She was about to drive to the park to pick us up because she hadn’t heard from us, and we hadn’t replied to her messages. It was such a touching moment when she found us! 🥹 ---- Conclusion ---- If you’re looking for a place with amazing views, great prices, spacious and clean rooms, and service that feels like family, I highly recommend this hotel. Even though the location is a bit off the main road (and there aren’t many shops nearby), it’s definitely worth it. I’m planning to return for sure!"

"Room: The room we stayed in was on the first floor with a yard. The room was very spacious, with a sofa and a recliner. The window faced the snow-capped mountains and the scenery was beautiful. The bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, and there was a place to take a bath outside. The hair dryer was Dyson, which made it very popular. There was a heater and an oxygen machine, so it was not cold even when wearing thin pajamas at night. The temperature was just right and it was not very dry. Service: After booking, the hotel housekeeper would call to ask if you were driving? How to get to the hotel? We added WeChat and sent a lot of precautions and travel guides in advance. The next day, we were picked up from the entrance of the scenic area to the hotel and checked in. There were many options for dinner. We ordered yak beef and tomato hot pot. The two of us didn't finish it. The beef was super tender and tasted very good. Location: The hotel is in the Shuangqiaogou scenic area, and the location is super convenient. We entered with tickets on the first day. We arrived late, so we rested in the room. The next morning, we could wave at the entrance of the hotel and get on the scenic area sightseeing bus."

"What we liked - Comfortable big room, heated bed is very useful for cold nights, oxygen canister in the room (must pay for use), hot water available for shower. Room and bedsheets are clean. Shower gel shampoo and toothbrush kit all provided. Contacted the owner of the hotel for some advice he was fast and friendly and helped us with transport around the town and getting back to Chengdu etc. What we didn't like - the room ceiling we had is a retractable ceiling, it got stuck for 2 nights. Breakfast could be improved - 2 eggs each would be nice, and some toast with peanut butter and jam? Mantou is not everyone's thing."

"Having such a hotel near such a remote scenic spot really saves people who love to travel alone. It is about a 15-minute walk from the gate of Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area. The room is very clean and the facilities are very new. The front desk also answered questions in detail. It's very good👍"
