Very good location. Quiet location. Friendly staff.Clean facilities. Will stay there again. Only disappointing feature was no meals non weekend.

Parkes was the last night and stop of this year's Rolls-Royce Rally when we hold our traditional Black-tie dinner and Presentation night. Manager/Chef extrordinaire Tom and his staff excelled in meeting all aspects of our requirements - general arrangements, catering, bookings, last minute changes and even some personal whims! I can confidently speak on behalf of all 17 in our group who enjoyed their experience and I would certainly recommend this Motel as meeting anyone's expectations.

Everything was great. Great location, stores abd parks were close. Generous size of the room. Great facilities. Nice and friendly staff. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoy the place and neighbourhood. Highly recommend it and will def stay there in future.

After a long drive it was wonderful to arrive to a spacious clean room, beautiful beds, pillows and sheets. We had a wonderful stay, the property and room was immaculate as was the suggestion of the Thai Resturant in town. Great communication when booking. I’ve just booked a return stay on our travels back north. Great staff too!

One of the best motels you can get for the price. I go to QLD from VIC almost every year for holiday and via Newell Hwy and almost every time our first stop is Parkes and we stay with them. The quality and cleanliness and amenities are unparalleled for the price. More than enough and specious parking. I had a rough count and it seemed there are twice as much parking spaces compared to number of rooms. Also the entrance is really high. Maybe 3m or even higher perhaps so people doing long road trip with high vehicles and stuff on their roof rack can get inside without problem. I carry a bag or two on the roof and it is suboptimal when you have to take them down just to enter a motel which is often and my 4WD doesn’t have a lift or anything. The staff are very polite and very good with communication. Late check ins were a breeze. Last time we had a free room upgrade and the room we stayed in was more like a hotel than a motel with a bath and all, TVs and ACs in every room etc. Looking forward to staying with them again.

Lovely couple running the motel, very hospitable, generous room, nice home style dinner and we came back for breakfast. No problem with highway noise in our room. Glad we chose those one for our stay in Parkes. We’d definitely come back again

Beautiful big room with updated bathroom. Separate tv for the kids :) free water bottles in the fridge were lovely. Very friendly staff. On the highway but very quiet. No restaurant on the weekend because they do private functions, and they had a party while we were there but we heard nothing, the manager made sure our stay was wonderful. Would be nice in the summer as well with an outdoor pool! Super stay, we'll be back. We would even consider staying here next time we want to see Dubbo Zoo, better than any property we've stayed in at Dubbo.

Definatley got the WOW factor when I opened the door. We have been staying in motels for the past week at various places and this room was far the best on this trip. Very clean, no comprimise with the incidentals,eg tea, coffee, face washer, towels. The family room had everything including a table and desk. When I book a motel in Parkes again it will be this one, don't have to go serching any more. I'm staying at the Parkes International.
