The reception was pleasant and efficient. The rooms were clean and had plenty of sapce with a lounge and separate tables and chairs for eating. There was also plenty of parking. Others have noted the noise and suggested rooms at the rear of the property however, while the road and train noise was obvious during the day, it was not noticeable at night. The motel restaurant was closed as were some other restaurants in the city, perhaps due to a shortage of staff however, the services club is an easy and convenient walk from the motel. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. I would stay here again.

Excellent motel! King bed very comfy, very spacious room with all mod cons.. Walkable distance to town centre...on highway but very quiet. Friendly manager...no complaints, would stay again and recommend.

Excellent. We stayed here 5 years ago witha 7 year old grandson on his first Big Boy adventure. We stayed in Room 4. King bed, disabled bathroom and everything as tip top as we remembered it. Wonderful nights rest. To have this printed I have to write 200 letters so this is just filling. If and when we drive from TAS to QLD or back again we will stay here.

Great motel room with very comfy king size bed and everything we needed for a comfortable night. Room looked to be recently refurbished with TV, wifi access and a couch and a fresh white bathroom. We like to be self sufficient when travelling and were happy to find that the room also had a fridge and a toaster, crockery and cutlery. Dishwashing liquid and a tea towel were thoughtful additions.

We stayed two nights . We had a king bed which was comfortable. Everything was cleaned to perfection. The manager was friendly and always willing to stop and have a talk. It is close to restaurants and shops. I would certainly stay here again if over that way again.

I had to stay at Parkes for the night & was booked into the Aastro Dish. I was welcomed into the premises with a friendly welcome, The rooms appear to have been refurbished & were very welcoming, bed very comfortable with the best sleep I have had while away for a long time. The bathroom was very good with a walking shower, the mini bar & coffee making facility was very good, the restaurant was closed that night but still had options close by being the club or the o'l faithful Maccas across the road. Defiantly going to stay here again next time I'm passing through & need a bed.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom family unit. Very clean, spacious and secure. Some more bench space in the bathroom would have been good. Room had a microwave, toaster, kettle and basic crockery. Very comfy bed, good heating system and some Foxtel channels. Car park is well lit at night. McDonalds and KFC across the street. Restaurants and Aldi an easy 10 minute walk away.

One of the nicest accessibility rooms we have seen. Extra bed to make it a family 2 bedroom apartment was much appreciated. Close to everything. Suprisingly quiet overnight given it is so close to the highway. One small quibble... Microwave and toaster are too high for someone in a wheelchair, elderly, or short person. Make sure to ask for these to be moved if needed. Everything else was very good.

Friendly service and well appointed rooms. I did miss not having a safe in the room. The rooms are dark with blockout curtains. Rooms are clean but the rooms are not supplied with cutlery for use of microwave heated meals. Wifi good for zoom meetings.
