Economy Inn

I was coming up to this Parkersburg to look at a property in Mineral Wells. Booked on **********. The pictures looked ok on the website. I arrived and checked in. Went to enter my room and the door handle was broken. The miserable office lady said all you have to do is pull the handle up! She had to unlock with the key, because like I told her the handle was broken. She opened the door, disgusting, seriously not fit for a human to sleep in. 1 pillow on each barely made double bed and the rank smell of cigarettes. I yelled down to my girlfriend to put our luggage back in the truck that this place is not fit for a human to sleep in. The miserable office lady did not say a word and just walked back to her office.

I booked a reservation last night with the economy inn through Travelocity. When I arrived the office had an arrow sign in it and there was a shed in the parking lot. It had a banner that said office on it. I approached the shed and asked if that was the office the rude middle aged woman behind the counter replied “that’s what the sign says isn’t it?” I really wanted to flip her off and leave but I was tired and i just wanted a room so I informed her I had a reservation. She said she hoped I wasn’t expecting to pay the online be price. I informed her I was since I booked it 10 minutes prior on Travelocity. She told me that if I wanted a room it would be 20 dollars more and a 50 dollar deposit. I told her I’d just go somewhere else and I did. 5 miles up the road I got a room at the red roof in for the same price i had booked online at economy and the guy behind the desk was pleasant as pie. Never going back to economy inn. Looked like a crack motel anyways.
