Our room was very comfortable and entire hotel had extra practices in place for good sanitation. Quick, one night stay but would frequent again if in area.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. The location was about 35 to 40 minutes away from Ohio University. The sofa was comfortable for working and watching television. The one thing I would suggest is more breakfast options for those who prefer non-dairy and no pork. Thank you so much for a great stay.

We've stayed at this Hampton a few times on our way to HHI. Our message from Marie was so nice, asking if we needed anything and to contact her if we did. Our room was very clean, beds, pillows all so clean and fresh. Breakfast was very nice with fresh fruit, hot choices, muffins, bagels, etc. Will stay here again in future.

Everything from the 3a.m. check-in (driving 8 hours from Chicago) to check-out I have never been on site a property as professional and as accommodating as this hotel. I am a business traveler as well as big vacationer. I would personally like to thank the staff for their kind hospitality and extreme care. Having been to over 100 hotels/resorts the past 3 years and also being a previous employee to a chain that competes with Hilton properties, it doesn't get any better. From cleanliness, to comfort and care with compassion. We were always greeted, our GSR hit every mark when welcoming us from food, and drinks to information of pool and market centers. This should be a site that corporate considers when retaining employees (for culture) as well as retraining especially (servant leadership and cleanliness standards) GMs! The rooms are extremely clean, hotel-very quiet, best staff you could ask for from Housekeeping to the Front Desk. Everywhere you turn the team and management greets you with a warm smile and goes out of their way to be generous. I want to thank the lady who checked us in from our June 17-18 stay this year. You were amazing, fast, hard-working and so very sweet. Thank you for going out of your way to make sure we got our points and informed us and helped us with a wrong booked date. You are HOSPITALITY at it's finest. We will be referring our colleagues to Hilton properties but especially the property at Parkersburg, WV.

Having stayed here once, we went out of our way to stay again on our return trip. The hotel is a little hard to find, being on a hill in what appears to be a residential area. Places to eat are just down the hill, but trudging up the hill after a meal can be challenging. During our second stay a group of teens--apparently visiting our planet from Hades--ran up and down the hall half naked to fetch food and drink from the stash left outside the door by their "supervising adults" at the other end of the hall. They also invaded the pool and spa area like conquering hoards. Hotel staff can't do much in these situations, though they never should have assigned the kids' rooms so far from the adults' rooms, and never on the top floor (the quiet space). That said, the staff did what they could, and we feel confident that our next visit will be comfortable and clean.

Our room was clean. The location is convenient. The front desk staff was helpful. We appreciated that Sunday breakfast was available at 6 AM, which allowed us to get an early start on our travels. The breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn offering, but the coffee was weak.

Everyone at the Hampton Inn In Parkersburg is kind, welcoming, accommodating, and beyond helpful. You arrive to the smell of freshly baked cookies individually wrapped to enjoy. I travel to Ohio quite often and now both going and returning make a point of staying there. Yes, I probably add at least 45 minutes each way to my trip. It is definitely worth it. The beds are comfortable, rooms always clean, hallways spotless. The Wi-Fi works, and the town of Vienna with restaurants, gas stations, and Home Depot is to the right of the traffic light at the foot of the hill. Breakfast is offered every morning and if in a hurry grab a “to go breakfast bag”. For me traveling solo, safety is an issue and I have never experienced a problem. Cameras are in the front of hotel and other areas. I will again be staying there in November. Highly recommend.

Clean, spacious room, mattress and pillows could be a little higher end. But, you can not beat their breakfast: waffles, frittatas, oatmeal, fried potatoes, biscuits, sausage gravy, boiled eggs, fruit, dry cereal, bagels, toast and all the toppings and condiments to go with them. Small pool, but they do have a nice exercise room. Large, heated spa. Very nice stay.
