We stayed July 2024. Owners are quite nice. Breakfast was generally pretty good. The mountain views were really nice. We saw elk either on property or quite near almost every night. The room was lovely to come home to every night. The decor and feel of the place was quite cool.

This two night stay was all we could hope for. Conveniently located and super clean! The breakfast was delicious both mornings and the dining room was clean and spacious. Such a positive experience! Highly recommended if you are traveling to the Yellowstone area.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family of 5. We stayed in a suite with plenty of room for us to be very comfortable. I appreciated the 2 bathrooms, making bedtime much smoother! Room also had a kitchen & full size fridge so we were able to stock water & a few quick bites…my teens eat constantly! Breakfast was yummy & saved us some money as well. Its about 10 minutes from Yellowstone North Entrance.

Very nice, clean, and comfortable. Minutes outside of town where its quiet. Had coffee in a rocker on the porch as i watched elk just across the yellowstone river. Home cooked pancake breakfast was an added bonus. Head to the park early as the wildlife are more active at that time

This place was great.. we stay for two nights and everything was great. Breakfast was great/ homemade.. all around great.. i have read two last comments and i dont know why people want to be haters.. The person who said the Wi-Fi sucks and the other person said the food was pre-packed. I don’t know why y’all wanna be haters. I have AT&T. It wasn’t their Wi-Fi. It was my phone carrier so don’t blame it on their Wi-Fi… Great owners….

We LOVED our stay at the Yellowstone Basin Inn! We used this as our home base during the first three days/nights of our Yellowstone visit, and couldn't have been happier with the location, the quietness, serenity, and beauty of the setting, and the yummy provided breakfast. Jeanette was a wonderful source of information as well, turning me on to the GuideAlong app, which we used as we traversed both YNP and GTNP -- invaluable! We will be back!

Janette and her husband knock it out of the park. The breakfast is different everyday and so good! We stayed in the valley view room for our 4 day yellowstone trip, the room was very clean and the beds were excellent. This place was an awesome find.
