The location was excellent. Couldn’t have been better for being right behind Galeries Lafayette. Lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel should consider upgrading their rooms and vacuum cleaner, however this was the smallest of issues considering the friendly staff and perfect location. I will definitely consider staying here again!

The location is very good behind the opera. The entrance is small and only the passage part can be confirmed. Since it is an old building for a moment, there is no air conditioner, and the passages and stairs are narrow. There is a small one-seater elevator that is typical of old hotels in Paris. The toilet is shared but relatively clean. Amenities are small sachets of shampoo and soap. There are no paper cups. The towel feels a little tired. It was very difficult to use because there was only one outlet and it was the wall next to the shower room on the foot side of the bed. I didn't use the breakfast at the hotel, but it is better to use it because there is a bakery and a coffee shop right at the entrance.

The service was very good. There was no sound problem, it was very quiet. The location 5 mins from the Olympia on foot.
If you want to stay in the center, near lots of restaurants, shops and good transport options - Prince Albert Opera Hotel will be you best choice. Newly renovated, cleanliness rooms and really good rooms (bigger than typical in Paris for this price). Highly recommend!
Response from Property: Dear mdmytr162988, Thank you for your comment, we are delighted to have lived up to your expectations, indeed the Hotel Prince Albert Opera is in the heart of Paris, close to all shops, restaurants, monuments and near department stores. Thank you for your understanding. Yours sincerely.

We stayed only for one night having our reservation at the very last minute and keeping the budget at minimum. Fearing of what we might end up with, we found a clean room with its own spotless bathroom and a very parisian character, with wonderful stencil paintings all over the walls, that surprised us pleasantly! The front desk was extremely polite and very helpful to all our quires. The area is ideal, since its very safe, quite and in walking distance to the Louvre Museum, metro and bus stations and to beautiful cafes with all sorts of treats! The rooms are in deed very small and the elevator even smaller, so I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay, but we would definitely return for an unforgettable romantic weekend!!!

My wife and I booked this hotel for a recent visit to Paris. Whilst all we needed was a bed for the night a few basic amenities wouldn’t have gone amiss. Oh and some English on the tv would be good especially after 10 miles of walking. The lack of basic tea and coffee in the rooms was disappointing as were the breakfast options for those with specific dietary requirements (intolerances, allergic reactions etc). The staff were ok although I should imagine long overdue a break themselves. The room whilst sparse, poorly decorated and pokey was cleaned to s good standard. There were broken tiles in the bathroom and the shower water fluctuated quite a lot. I’m not sure what cover was on the bed however every night without fail I woke up in a puddle of sweat, the room wasn’t too hot, the under lining wasn’t allowing me skin to breath. After all that it did what it was meant to do. We were warm and dry, clean and able to walk another +10 Miles the next day.

It is absolutely five stars for location/cleanliness/customer service in a three star hotel. It’s been recently completely renovated and everything is brand new inside the room- showers, carpet, restroom. I’m staying here for six nights and it’s been four nights and so far I’ve experienced nothing but kindness from front desk clerks- they are very helpful and pleasant to interact with; the location is in the heart of ninth arr. within walking distance to various bus stations and metro and even at night I felt safe walking here. There is a restaurant on the corner in one minute walk that closes at 10 PM if you’re up for a late dinner. Hotel has breakfast buffet until 10 am, basic but plentiful- cereals, cheeses ( soft and hard ), butter, various jams, some ham and cheese, croissants , pan au or chocolat, boiled eggs that you can boil yourself on the steamer right there , orange juice, and coffee machine that makes delicious coffee . or you can just buy coffee. Overall, it is a very pleasant stay. I am so happy I found this little hidden gem VERY reasonably priced and when I come back here with my family will be renting the double adjoining rooms. thank you Hotel management and staff members for making it a very pleasant visit!

I chose the hotel for its location and I do not regret it. It is close to everything, it is very comfortable. The elevator is very small. I only used it to take my luggage up and down. The rest of the time I used the stairs, but it was great. When I go back to Paris, this will be my place again. I loved the hotel. I loved Paris.

As for the service, it is very good, the staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The location is excellent, close to the Galerie La Fayette so you can't get lost and super close to the metro stations. It is not a luxurious place but it is very clean. If you are looking for the latest in modern decoration, this is not the hotel for you. In any case, you only come to sleep, the rest is to enjoy Paris! It worked out well for me! Breakfast is a good option!
