First, the good: the aesthetic of the hotel is exceptional, especially the lobby and the bar. You receive a personalised welcome including a history of the hotel. The rooms are super quiet and dark at night and you'll for sure get a good sleep.
The bad: the rooms are very small and the one we got (Rose) was a disappointment compared to the photos. The room lacked basic amenities like tea and coffee which you get in even the most low budget hotels, and when the front desk was called to ask about this, we were offered tea brought to the room, but then charged 20 euros (we got this removed from the bill of course, but this should not have happened to begin with).
The service was very slow during our stay, both the check-in but also the breakfast. It felt like it was understaffed, even though at breakfast it was only around half full at the time. In general, the service level attempts to be more personal to justify its 5 star rating, but clearly more staff are needed to pull this off properly.
The spa was too cold to enjoy.
I would not stay again, but would consider visiting the bar to enjoy the unique atmosphere.

Very good👌Beautiful environment. Later I found out it used to be **. The waiter also took me around and explained it. Very good service. There is a spa inside that you can enjoy privately because it was too late to see the Moulin Rouge.

Perfect romantic weekend with my wife as a gift for her birthday. We had been to Maison Souquet once before and decided to come back a few years later as we like the special atmosphere all throughout the hotel. This time, we are able to book the Spa twice and had a wonderful relaxing time for ourselves. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Montmartre, great restaurants and sightseeing for a short weekend. Extremely friendly and helpful staff that helped us to make restaurant reservations and arranged taxi and a private tour guide. I hope we will be able to come back soon...

The hotel was absolutely perfect, the staff were amazing, the service was exemplary. Couldn’t do enough for us, suggested great places to eat. The ambiance of the hotel was fantastic. The location was within easy reach of the Moulin Rouge which was a great night out. Looking forward to returning.
