Park Hyatt Paris Vendome is a very very very very nice place to stay

I had long been interested in staying in this hotel. I had to come to Paris for work and was going to be in a work hotel for my work commitments, but decided to come a day early so I could enjoy Paris. This hotel had points availability, so I took it, and I was not disappointed. While my room was not ready when I checked in, it eventually was ready at the 3PM check in time. I was led to my room by a gracious front desk person who was very comprehensive in here describing the hotel's amenities (dining options, gym, etc) and in showing me all the features in my room. I had room 243 which was perfect for my needs. Nice comfortable king bed. Great unique shower, wonderful toiletries. Great blackout curtains etc. I also greatly appreciated the nespresso machine in the room. While I waited for my room to be ready I had coffee and a cesaar salad in the restaurant. Service was a tad slow to start but once it got going was genuine and warm. Delicious food. Later that night I had dinner in the courtyard area. I had the delicious gazpacho and foie gras, and some nice wine and champagne, excellent service. The next morning, I had breakfast in the restaurant. While pricey (as expected for a hotel of this caliber), all the food was excellent and service good. Overall, I had a great time here. Location is very central to many site, either accessible by walking (which I mainly did and is a highlight for me of Paris) or by several metro stops nearby. This hotel is a splurge but worth it, and I hope to return.

We stayed for two nights in a standard room overlooking the garden inside. The room was ok size in a central area of Paris and the staff were nice. I’m giving 3 star because the value was not there. It’s easily $1000/night anytime of the year but there was nothing spectacular about the hotel to be honest.

We are frequent visitors to Paris and are always reminded during each trip why we choose the Park Hyatt Vendome. By far the best service of any of the 5-star properties, with the managers and the front desk staff (Prospere, Charlotte, Edouard…) going absolutely above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. We wholeheartedly recommend.

We recently stayed at the Park Hyatt Paris for our anniversary trip, and while the property itself was okay, the real standout was Lucas. From the moment we arrived, Lucas went above and beyond to make our stay special. He was incredibly attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed, and his professionalism shone through in every interaction. His positive attitude and genuine care truly made a difference in our experience. Despite the property not quite living up to expectations, Lucas’s exceptional service left a lasting impression on us. Thank you, Lucas, for making our anniversary feel so special!
