Mazis Apartments

Well what can we say about our stay ? Simply brilliant would just about cover it. Everything you could want for a relaxing weeks break. Like other reviews say it’s located on the hill side with amazing views. It is a hilly walk down the road to the resort and the beach, we are responsibly fit and took about 15 minutes, We would recommend doing the walk early morning or Early Evening as walking back up was tiring in the Heat. The apartment's has a well stocked market underneath with everything you need. The pool area is amazing with views out to sea. Our apartment was cleaned nearly everyday and towels changed. The hosts could not do enough for you the welcome was the best we have ever received from anywhere we have stayed honestly couldn’t fault it. How we judge our stay is would you go back and would you recommend it to friends and family and the answers is 1000% yes.

We have just returned from a two week stay at Mazis Apartments and will definitely be returning. The apartments are comfortable and spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We had fresh towels every couple of days and the beds were changed about every 3-4 days. All rooms have a sea view and the view across the bay is absolutely beautiful, the sunsets are amazing! The ‘Infinity Pool’ area is a quiet and relaxing place to just chill and read a book and there was no need to reserve sun beds, most days we were the only guests there until mid-afternoon. There’s also a very handy supermarket right below the apartments for your daily essentials. The family and staff that run Mazis are wonderful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They very kindly let our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter use the facilities even though they were staying at different apartments (there was sadly no availability as Mazis when they booked after us). They were also happy for our granddaughter to stay with us overnight when we babysat. The apartments are up a hill so you may struggle if you have any mobility or health issues, but we didn’t find it difficult (even pushing a pram) and of course the reward is the stunning sea view. We will definitely return.

We stayed at Mazis for one week as a couple and we loved it. Fantastic view from the apartments, which were modern, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The family are wonderful and friendly, offering assistance when my suitcase was delayed by a day. The supermarket is very useful as the apartments are up a hill, which while is only about 400m from the village can be a bit tough in the heat; take your time! We are definitely returning.

Mazis was perfect for a week stay with my 9 year old daughter, who loved the pool, I loved the views! The studio apartment was great, well equipped and spotlessly clean, and comfy beds. Really convenient to have the supermarket on the doorstep and the apartment's opposite has a bar with a fantastic view of the sunset. Would go back in a heartbeat!

The apartments really are in the best location and the views are absolutely amazing, the best I have even seen from any accommodation I have stayed in. The apartments are ran by a family who are warm, welcoming and accommodating. They even ordered some flowers on behalf of my husband for my birthday, which was spent there. It is a 10 min walk down to the beach which is beautiful with plenty of lovely restaurants. Everyone is so friendly. Yes, the walk back up the hill is a little tough but it didn't bother us really as the views were well worth it. It may be a struggle for people with mobility issues though. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we very much hope to come back in the future.

We have just had a very enjoyable week at Mazis. The room was a little dated but was well equipped with everything we needed and was cleaned spotlessly every other day by the very friendly Linda. Mazis is sat on top of a very steep hill, but the view from the balcony and pool area was worth the trek. The only disappointing part of our stay was this morning when we were leaving and tried to pay the toursit tax. We were berated by a man, possibly the owner, that we didn't have cash and despite saying that we would pop to the ATM he continued to argue, saying we should have paid on the last night when the supermarket was open so he could take card payment. He was very, very rude and sarcastic towards us, smirking that we didn't have the cash. It's a shame because last night we were planning our trip back here, but not anymore.
