La Pousada Arte Urquijo es un espacio donde el arte, la historia y el buen gusto te envuelve en cada pequeño detalle. Con una arquitectura típica sumada a cuadros, esculturas y decoración exquisita que le dan un estilo único. Imprescindible es mencionar la calidez de María Cruz (pendiente en todo momento de nuestra estadía), la simpatía de Marinete, la presencia de Quesiña y los "bolos" espectaculares y "ovos mexidos" de Angélica y Angela en el "café da manha". Imposible no sentirse mimados y como en casa! Indudablemente volveremos!

This Pousada was incredibly uniqe in terms of the decorations, room layouts and staff. Each room had a unique feature ie hammocks that couild be used outside it on a private porch with a beautiful view of the bay. The proximity to the water was a plus in the historic district as well as the short walking distances to the many restaurants and sites that Paraty has to offer. We cannot say enough about the staff, how kind and willing they all were to meet our every need. The phenomenal breakfast served is beyond description! Need more be said? Would definitely stay again!

Beautifully decorated and kept inn right in Paraty's historic centre. Absolutely pristine in terms of cleanliness - I've never been in a hotel so clean. The staff of women are incredible - warm and kind and helpful. I don't speak Portuguese, except for the owner they don't much English, but they were so ready to help me and to provide recommendations. Great breakfast and again the lovely lady making breakfast wrote out the names of Brazilian foods I didn't know. The room was beautifully decorated in keeping with the feel of the historic building. The bed was very comfortable with lovely soft sheets, all the amenities you need. Loved the hammock on the balcony. There's a nice little swimming pool at the back to dip in on a hot day and a bar if you need refreshment.
It's in a great location in the historic centre, easily walkable to everywhere you'd want to see in Paraty, but on quite a quiet street so it is nice and calm. Very close to the little port for boat trips and on the same street as the cultural centre and right next to the little theatre. Lots of cafes, shops and restaurants within minutes of walking.
I would highly recommend staying here.

Excellent emplacement dans le centre historique.
Pas le confort d’un 5 étoiles, mais endroit plein de charme.
Beaucoup de marchés étroites à monter pour accéder aux chambres.
Le personnel parle uniquement Portugais.
Donc, se munir d’une application de traduction.
Très bon petit déjeuner.

Hotel muito aconchegante, péssimo estacionamento.
O pessoal que atende a pousada foi muito atencioso e fez de tudo para tornar nossa estadia agradável.
O ponto negativo é a falta de estacionamento. O carro tem que ficar na rua, sem nenhum tipo de proteção ou garantia. Além disso, o local sugerido para estacionar é próximo ao cais e, dependendo da maré, as ruas inundam. Um perigo.

Linda pousada, funcionários muito atenciosos, Marinete e Kessinha são demais. Café da manhã delicioso, inclusive oferecem café da tarde com bolinho. Localização excelente. Em alta temporada o estacionamento é um problema, e a localização também facilita acesso às vagas do estacionamento rotativo.
