We picked to stay at Seda Manila Bay because it's close to the Manila NAIA Airport and connected to Ayala Manila Bay shopping mall. The room we were given originally had a Bay View, which was goo but the sewage like smell coming from the toilet that night was unbearable! We complained in the morning and was transferred to a pool view room. Both rooms we were in was clean but for a new hotel (less than 1 & 1/2 yrs old) the grout and silicone in the bathroom tiles looked dirty. There was also a funny smell (like an old carpet )walking thru the hallway on the 10th floor.
The service and the staff at Seda are very helpful, breakfast was good and the service from the breakfast staff was fabulous. I think that the price to stay at Seda Manila Bay does not match what the room offers. The room was pretty basic, 1 bottle of water supplied, instant coffee was not great and the internet was just ok. The gym was good, the mini golf looked good and they had a large pool but the paint in the pool seem to be disintegrating already. I think the hotel is too new to have the smell issues and if cleaning of the bathroom is not maintained well its going to look pretty bad in a years time. Not sure if I would come back to Seda Manila Bay, it wasn't a bad hotel but it wasn't great either.

Hotel service ia bad because we have no available rooms when we checked in due to their problem in housekeeping. Good thing TRIP helped me in the process. It seems late check in is normal in this hotel as they are just saying sorry and and asked us to wait until rooms are available.

We had a very nice stay here and will definitely come back next time when we are laying over in Manila! The concierge was very mindful and since we checked out before breakfast he organized a take-away bag for us with sandwiches, apples, eggs and water. Just awesome. Since we were just staying one night and I had to receive a sending, he received it for us in advance and handed over when checking in without being asked.
The location is great for layovers when flying from T1 and T2, just a 10 mins trip if traffic allows.
The hotel is connected to Avaya Mall with all kinds of shops and restaurants. The gym and kids play room are well equipped and it was really comfortable for us and our kids. Recommend to staying there.
