We enjoyed ourselves very much and lovedthe unique and comfortable lodging accommodations! The staff was friendly and helpful when we made our reservation, and upon check-in and check-out as well. We stayed in a car that had 1 bedroom, 1 very comfortable (surprise!) pull-out couch, and 2 bathrooms! Having 2 bathrooms was a requirement for us. They were small (you are in a small train car), but both bathrooms were full bathrooms with a shower vs a tub. There were plenty of bed pillows, and the couch and was just right for relaxing and watching a Christmas movie as the snow fell in the beautiful surrounding countryside. There was also a microwave and coffee set-up. The entire car was very clean!

I was on a girl's trip, and we stayed 4 nights in the large caboose train car. It was so much fun. It says it sleeps 6 but if there were 6 people in there, it would have been too cramped. They had 2 chairs and a drop leaf table with mini frig and microwave. I sat on the bed opposite the table to eat. The shower is small; however we were glad to have it. We would do it again in the future.

I, and my friends, enjoyed the concept/idea of the cabooses. This time, however, the caboose I had seemed to be run down and not as nice as in the past....I had also inquired two times during my stay if I could SEE some of the the other cabooses so I could choose the one I liked best for my next stay but was told (both times) that that is not possible. I would be given what was available....I would rather "KNOW" which one I was actually getting before securing a caboose. :(

Listen, and I don’t wanna tear the place apart. If you’re really into trains, this might be the experience of a lifetime. I stayed there for work because it was inexpensive. I like staying in places that are different. But I would not stay here again. The sheets and linens were clean I guess. The carpet was not. The walls were not. The ceiling in the bathroom was not. Also, my train car was crooked so the whole time I thought I was going to roll out of the bed. It was literally crooked to the point where the toilet seat would not stay up by itself without holding it. The staff, however, were extremely friendly and very gracious.

Cute quiet space. We stayed in the farm house and it was very cozy. Loved the petting zoo! Beautiful view from the front porch. Convenient and not too far away from everything.
