When we arrived at the hotel, we saw the room... magnificent, and the common areas, okay, the bar wasn't very well attended, but I forgive them because they were half-full... Next time, I won't forgive them... If I go alone, because with my wife, I don't think I'll go. When we got up, well, I got up later because I slept very well, my wife, no... I opened the windows and found myself on top of a cemetery!!!!!! A bit:... creepy... When I went down to breakfast, my wife was with a couple who had posted a tictock about this... She realized before going to sleep... I... I had simply drunk 15 beers and didn't mind sharing it with "the holy company" .... The hotel... good... very good... The location... If you are a goth... perfect... If not... Phew

Wonderful! Really beautiful property! The nicest room we stayed in during our entire trip! Tje building was built in the 1600s. Very nice staff, close to a nice restaurant in a small town. Walking distance to the Mirador balcon de Madrid.

Nice stay in Parada de Sil Beautiful hotel in a quite and beautiful little town. Many beautiful natural places to visit around, We enjoyed our visit to Rivera Sacra. Mar (head staff or owner, I’m not sure) was a wonderful help for planning touring around and see as many things as possible in a short time.

Hotel con mucho encanto. Nuestra habitación era muy grande , al igual que el baño, y la cama comodísima. La situación perfecta para explorar los cañones del Sil. Lo mejor de todo la amabilidad y entusiasmo del personal: se nota las ganas que ponen para que la estancia sea lo mejor posible. El desayuno de calidad y con café como dios manda. I just want to warn future customers about the very unpleasant people in charge of the hospitality at this place. Traveling in Spain on a long trip I had booked 7 different hotels in the north of Spain. On the second day of my trip I had a serious problem on the road and was forced to cancel my whole journey. All the other 6 hotels agreed without problem to refund me the whole amount of my booking at very short notice. Only the one where I should have stayed in the same day refund half of the price paid. The “Reitoral de Parada de Sil” where I should have been on the next day, refused to do so, even though I called them directly to explain my situation. I was able to cancel online, on their site, all the other 6 bookings with full refund even though the deadline to do so was over. Not very nice people indeed. I hope you’ll be aware.
