Cleanliness and Maintenance: Multiple users praised the hotel for being "clean," "super clean," and "well-maintained," with some noting "large rooms" and "ample amenities."

The room was NOT very clean & a few different things were broken (shower drain backed up, dishwasher broken, freezer ice machine broken). The towels and sheets were clean (as they should be - that's bare minimum), but the room had not been well vacuumed (obvious when looking at the floor) and the bathroom was barely cleaned. Like, maybe the vanity had been wiped off and that's it. When I realized the room wasn't very clean, I used some hand wipes to wipe off the toilet seat and let's just say that there was evidence/stuff on the wipe I used. Gross. Same with the bathroom sink - visible evidence of not being cleaned since the previous guests. The shower drain was backed up. I didn't realize this until I was in the shower with shampoo already applied to my hair, so I had to stay in the shower for a few more minutes to finish. By that time, about 2 inches of water was backed up in the tub area. So gross. This would have been something that housekeeping would have discovered if they had run the shower for 1 minute or more to clean/rinse the shower. So this tells me that they weren't cleaning the shower on a regular basis. The front desk acted surprised when I reported these issues, but I'm fairly certain they had just been ignoring them (based on what I observed, these were not likely new issues). The dishwasher being broken wasn't a huge deal for us because we stayed one night only, but they didn't leave any alternative supplies to wash the dishes (no sponge, no dish soap). There was a sign on the dishwasher stating that it was broken and the sign had clearly been there a while (so this would have been a known issue). They provided dish cleaning supplies when we asked, but this should be something the provide proactively until the dishwasher is fixed. Overall, this was a pretty terrible stay and it seems clear that management is ignoring these issues and they are coasting on their 4 star review with enough new business not to care.

My daughter and I stayed here on a quick trip from Los Angeles to Denver. The staff at the front desk were delightful and welcoming. All the surfaces were spotless. The mattresses and pillows felt amazing after a long day in the car. I would gladly stay here again.
