Palazzo Piccinno

Excellent address to start your trip in Salento Puglia. The Palazzo is renovated with style, the hosts are fantastic, with an eye for every detail: the room, the breakfast, the suggestions for visiting the area... Indeed, you arrive as a guest and go as a friend. In the middle of Parabita, a beautiful, lively small town.

On reading the reviews myself and my husband thought surely some of these were fake one place couldn’t get so many good reviews, but I can tell you on staying here we very soon realised how true they were , from walking in through the massive wooden doors to the warm and welcoming greeting to the beautifully finished bedroom with large shuttered windows that open on to the street below the massive double bed so comfortable to the garden with luxurious sunloungers , Breakfast served in the garden with every attention to detail its almost an art form food is homemade and each day was a new surprise, nothing is too much trouble . But really it’s the staff and hosts marco and Richard that make it one of the most if not the most special place I have ever stayed truly unique ( if you think I’m exaggerating I’m not , ) marco and Richard always have a smile and a greeting with tips and ideas of exploring the beautiful local town to further afield we were so lucky to have found you can’t wait to come back it felt like a home from day one . We had a very lovely time at Palazzo Piccinno! Richard and Marco are very friendly and welcoming. They have looked after us with lots of care. The Palace is beautifully decorated. Breakfasts are delicious, rich, well presented and served with elegance by the lovely Denise. The hosts, Marco and Richard, have traded their lives in the City of London to create something truly special. They have renovated an entire old mansion in the town center, transforming it into an oasis for those seeking an escape from dreary weather or job stress. They haven't just created a beautiful space; with their incredible friendliness and attention to detail, they have redefined what true guest service means. The four beautifully decorated rooms make you feel at home from the very first second. Every morning, Marco and Richard entertain you with a 5-star breakfast served near the pool. And should you be too lazy to go to the beach? You can simply relax and continue to be pampered all day long by the poolside, under the shade of a large banana tree. Beyond the palazzo's walls, Parabita has a very beautiful and lively town center around the local castle, where we found the best pizza ever! The location is also very convenient, just an easy 60-minute drive from Brindisi airport. Marco and Richard are also the perfect guides, providing fantastic ideas every day for excursions to the stunning coast, wonderful restaurants, or cultural experiences throughout Puglia. This was more than just a holiday; it was an absolutely perfect experience. We cannot recommend it highly enough. We will be back! My wife and I stayed for a week in July 2024.

This is one of the best places I have stayed. When we arrive we instantly felt part of the family. Marco snd Richard are such amazing people, nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfasts are amazing. The pool glorious. The rooms beautiful and extremely stylish all in their different ways. Sometimes it’s the little things that make you happy from the turndown service to the constant bottles of iced water being bought to you by the pool. The town of Parabita was an unexpected find. A lovely place to wonder and lose yourself. Marco and Richard, thank you for making our stay so enjoyable, see you next year:)

This place is the best place that we have stayed in Puglia, and we’ve been many times! Everything about it is 5 stars. Richard and Marco are just amazing.. they make the guests feel so at home. Breakfast is 10/10, rooms 10/10, location 10/10. You won’t be sorry if you book this Palazzo Piccinno 👍👍👍
