Check-in was friendly and easy, and not limited to a brief window - good to give them a heads up though, as it's a family running it. While you can tell it's dated, I could tell they made an effort to make it cozy. The room felt a little stale on first arriving, but with movement and turning on the heat, it cleared up. And the separate bathroom thermostat was appreciated so I could keep sleeping area a little cooler. Internet was advertised as not included but it was, which was also nice. My one frustration was the outlet situation. Only the fridge and microwave were plugged in. The A/C is in the same vicinity as qell as the coffeemaker. Not a huge deal, as you would just unplug the microwave, but it might be a hassle in the summer. But also glad tobhave both available, not enough places have them both. Also that I had to go looking for a plug to charge devices. That could also be remedied with the lamps that have a USB port in them. They could be slowly replacing them, as I'm sure it could be costly all at once, but I was able to charge them, regardless.
