Downtown Park

Outstanding. The stuff at this place is amazing and helpful with every request we had. The apartment is amazing. Clean and beautiful with all the facilities required. The place has a gym and sauna. Free car parking. Free WiFi and a king size bad. Too bad I didn’t know about the place on my previous visit to Paphos. Highly recommended.

Excellent Staff and location This place is just WOW!!! All the staff there are amazing. I was well looked after by Elisavet and Christina. The room was amazing with excellent view of the sea and Lighthouse. Walking distance to all tourist spots . Local bus stop nearby kings avenue mall 5 mins walk Old town 20 mins Paphos harbour around 15 mins walk. McDonalds and KFC walking distance There is also bottle of water, juice, lemonade etc in fridge for you plus crisps, chocolate bar etc included in the room.

New and clean aparthotel Downtown Park was our first option to spend a week holiday in Paphos this past November. This aparthotel offers an amazing view to the sea, the UNESCO archaeological site, and the lighthouse. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very helpful and the communication was amazing. The only downside is the karaoke bar located in the bacjk of the hotel. The customers can get pretty loud in the evenings making your stay a bit uncomfortable, especially if you want to have a "quiet vacation". This is not Downtown Park's fault we understand. The staff was very kind to contact the managers of the noisy place and we were even offered an upgrade to a room in a more quiet area of the building. I emphasize that this is not the fault of the hotel, the inconvenience for two nights was actually due egoistic and loud customers thinking that their drinking, loud songs and laughter are more important than their neighbors. Other than that we give it a 9 out of 10.

We recently had a three night stay at Downtown Park and the whole experience was extremely positive. Our one bedroom apartment was well furnished and very comfortable. The reception staff were highly professional, very friendly and provided lots of helpful information. The apartments are well located, being close to the mall (which has an excellent supermarket), and also in reasonable walking distance to the old town and major tourist sights. Highly recommended for a stay in Paphos.

Stayed for a week in a 3-bed apartment in block 3. The apartment was stunning, spacious and comfortable with a good kitchen and everything we needed from robes and slippers to washing tablets for the machine. When we arrived there was a bowl of fruit, basket of snacks, and fridge had drinks. The nespresso machine was a great touch. The room was cleaned three times during our stay. We opted for a late checkout which cost extra. Apartment within walking distance of loads of shops, cafes, bars, the mall, and a few sightseeing things. Beach five mins walk. Staff were all really helpful. We booked the gym for an hour slot - it is bookable by one party at a time so you have it to yourself and can use the sauna too. The games room looked fun but wasn’t used. There are two pools - one on the roof of block 3 and the other in the centre of the complex, which loses the sun at lunchtime for a few hours. Terrace comfy with great beds but the pools are not heated. On the website it says the pools are temperature controlled but they are unheated. They were both freezing - the kids still used them quite a bit and the adults braved a quick swim but it was not exactly pleasurable. This is the only reason the place doesn’t get five stars - the miscommunication on the website. If you are visiting outside the hottest months and a pool is a must-have, maybe this is not the complex for you.

Downtown strikes a perfect balance between self-catering/serviced accommodation and it almost feels like a hotel at the same time. We stayed in room 404 (Block 1), which although being a studio, was very spacious and bright. It did over look Kings Avenue Mall on one side but also offered amazing views of the mountains. All the staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Huge thanks to Marta, Christina, Elisavet, and, a special mention to Alex who was amazing. The rooms, pool and all external areas are immaculately maintained. Each room has everything you need, including a well equipped kitchen and various complimentary bits. The beds are large and extremely comfortable. There is one main large pool and a smaller roof-top pool, located on the block just across the road, there are four smartly designed blocks in total. Sunbeds have a thick mattress and there were always plenty available. The location gives the best of both worlds, it's within 20-25 minutes walk of the new town / harbour area and around 25-30 minutes of the old town, you can also get to the beach just over the main road within 5 minutes - try a coastal walk to catch the sunsets. On reflection this is probably the best self catering accommodation we've stayed in, don't hesitate to book!
